There you go again.  Next we'll be hearing there are at least 40, 50, 60 of those Racesaver PA guys running $15,000 plus motors.  You would too for that fantastic $100 to start, right.

I don't have any idea what you are talking about I think you are reading into the post more than it is. I am trying to get a open 305 race on Oct 4th. I took the racesaver out a while back. That way we can get the Mercer and fremont Attica guys to come. What are you talking about 40 50 60 and 15k plus motors?

Get used to it. As soon as you start talking about 305's you'll start hearing from every narrow-minded, singular-class-liking person who can type their garbage on a message forum,

The Racesaver class of 305's is a great class as has been proven by many, MANY tracks across the country, with more tracks signing up for them all of the time.

That was a bad joke in response to a regular anti Racesaver poster who stated there any number of $15,000 plus 305 Racesaver motors out there.  If they are cheaters, they cheat.  Personally ,  the only $15,000 plus 305 I have ever seen was a USED 305 for sale for $16,000 at Fremont two or three years ago.  And it ran at Fremont. Might have even been legal.   You really don't have a choice.  If you want to have a 305 race in Ohio, it has to be an open 305 race.  That way you get the Schwankes,  the All Pros,  the Attica/Fremont cars and soon maybe the 602/604 cars.  And maybe a Racesaver or two.  Too far for us. 

Tre Craft go price a RACESAVER engine from Hershey's Racing Engines, or Gressman. There are guys running Racesaver with over $20,000 in their motor. It is not illegal to put a ton if money in your motor And there are Racesaver teams doing it.

Once again, for those who haven't read the last 999 times this has been posted.

You CAN spend as much as you wish to for a Racesaver motor. Or, you can build one for well under $10,000 (Roger Hadan was selling them for $8000).

In this case, $$ doesn't buy you wins. Driver and set-up are what wins in this class. As an example, a Hall of Fame sprint car driver who was in attendance at the 2014 Racesaver IMCA Super Nationals stated that he is considering coming out of retirement because the racing that he saw proved that there is a class where the driver actually is the deciding factor.

But, by all means, everyone keep saying how much you CAN spend on a Racesaver engine.

Why would I want to price a $20,000 Racesaver motor?  I have a three year old Racesaver that cost half that. Of course it started with a donated used block, and I had a used injection and a used mag to use.  But don't forget the $20,000  motor boys are getting help from the promoters.  Promoters love to brag about $1000(or more) to win.  And they call that the " purse ".   Getting the price for  a $20,000 Racesaver is easier than finding the purse.   You know, the payout to those without the $20,000 motors.   And remember, it's not illegal to " post the purse ".

We really need to get some names together if we are going to make it happen. I want to put on a good show for the promoter and fans. If we don't have any more people call or text me there names we will probably have to tell him i could not get enough guys to run it. My Number is 740 703 6123 if interested in it. That's a excellent payout for 305 weekly racing. 

We took the old 360 purse and spread it out so that it wasn't so top-heavy. It seems to have helped to attract a lot of new drivers and converted a few others.

This class is definitely here to stay!!!

You can not stop guys from spending money. If someone wants to spend $20000 or more on a racesaver 305 they are going to do it. As long as the people inspecting and sealing the motors are honest the big spenders will not have an advantage.

I had a guy from Fremont state that 5 guys are coming down to run, Weaver, Stroup, micheal, griffth, capodice, Kester and me so far. We need more cars. If there are any more or changes please let me know. It will be hard to get a race for 7 cars.  Thanks

I talked to the promoter with only 9 cars we will not have a 305 race but we can run with the 410 cars if you want.

I tried hard to get the race but not that much interest in the race.

Unless I get a bunch of calls no 305 Race at Atomic

We need more tracks to run this class but if no interest that is fine. 

Just a friendly suggestion - would probably make more sense to edit the title to say no 305 race considering there are other classes that are still planning on running. Good luck with your endeavours!
