fuck you and tony Stewart  speedkills okay

I'm rich and don't need money, I need common sense for Having a opinion about Eldora

Your right speedkills about Tony not hiring me to clean your puke off the toilets at eldora after you were done sucking him off

Sounds good Vanderbilt. Keep enjoying hating everything about the sport and keeping us all updated on how much you hate it too.

1969, the last year I ran there in the old pre WWll flathead coupes we were running 21 second laps, the Late Models were in the 19s with their big block Chevelles, Torinos, Chargers, etc and the non winged barely caged Sprints run in the 17s. So much for 45 years of technical advances but it was, sort of, entertaining.

I would like to say "I had more fun last night watching trucks run at "The Big E" then I would on a normal Wed. night."

Thank You Tony and everyone that made it happen, I enjoyed my cooler next to me on the cough!

I would like to see more (4 times a year) Wed. races on Cable TV where there is dirt and dust in the air.

I agree with OP, I would have thought they might have been quite a bit faster as well. Is it just that the cars are too asphalt specific to corner on dirt with any real speed?

I'm no expert on the trucks but I'm assuming the suspensions just aren't conducive to speed on dirt, not to mention the narrow tires that the trucks run. It's very heavy compared to dirt cars as well.

There you have it...... Tony Stewart on TV moments ago just confirmed my belief  and took banking out of the top of the track and admitted to being the dumbest hillbilly in the dirt track world and ruined Eldora to make better racing for bitches like him to feel better about racing at Eldora cause he has a  fear of the way it used to be .... All balls out on the wall or you were done at eldora.

thanks Tony for making a warrior dirt track into a bitchfest

All for nascar cause it's where it's at  you know nascar

glad to hear him confirm what I thought though ...... Eldora is for bitches now

Yet I am sure you tuned in like the rest of us.

If you are a race fan this is a stupid argument, the only race on TV last night was the trucks at Eldora, and it wasn't bad if you are a Larson fan, he put on a great show as always.

Dirt tracks all over the country need new fans, last night was one of the best ways to get them interested.

Why are people bitching about the speeds?  There is no way in HELL a vehicle weighing 3400 pounds, can go around any dirt track close to a speed that a 1200 pound vehicle can.  I don't think it would even matter if the track has more water in it or not.   Of course they are slower......Am I missing something?  I was very entertained, slide jobs here and there, banging off the wall etc....... A hell of a lot more exciting than watching the pole sitter lap everyone but the top 10 enroute to a flag to flag pole victory..........And I LOVE Sprint Cars..............

don't put me in the bandwagon with that moron....

From the parts I watched of the truck race, it was very good (didn't see much though I'll admit, had other stuff going on).

I'm torn on whether or not they should add more dirt races though, and from reading Andy Hamilton's article in the DesMoines Register, the drivers are too.  They don't want the market to be over-saturated with NASCAR dirt track races and make them less of a novelty.

On one hand, it'd be great as they'd go to other markets and race on different types of dirt and put on entertaining racing.  on the other, they may make those races a lot less special (just like they have Night Races).

I personally say 1 dirt track race a year for NASCAR is enough, just like Saturday Night races used to be in NASCAR and make them appointment TV and a "must see live" event for the fans.

Hey larryitis--I am enjoying the race.  Pi$$ on everyone that's not!!  Agree this is GREAT exposure for dirt racing.  Need to get more of these.

Hope to see you again at the track in the future!  If you go to K-ville, let me know.

Will do. Next year I'm definitely going all 4 nights. This year, maybe just Saturday.

never noticed a sprint painted on the wall in my travels, but I'll take your word for it.

Personally, I never think of Eldora and immediately think sprint cars like I do when you say Williams Grove or Knoxville, I've always though World 100 and Late Models, then the King's Royal and sprints.

Some of the best racing I've seen is when a track slows down (a few years ago @ Knoxville, the Late Models timed in the low 17's and raced in the high 23 second range and the racing was great).  Are they as fast as sprints?  nope, but good racing is good racing no matter what the division.  The only thing I don't like watching is spin outs and caution laps.

Never been to Eldora, don't know anything about the banking, but where do you get off calling sprint car drivers "bitches"?

Do you think roll cages & seat belts are for pussies too?

Anyone who drives those things has MUCHO balls! even the girls.....

If you do go on Saturday, shoot your contact info over to Maddog and he can forward to me.  Better yet, head south, pick him up and we can down some beers.  Pretty sure there will be some sites around where we are camping to throw up a tent.  let me know.

No Vande, My comment had nothing to do with you or taking any shot at you. In my book you and I have zero problem.

Grady

Had a chance to see it yesterday and I was thinking that without Larson and the rivalry deal, instead of it being "it wasn't bad", it would have been just OK.

Going to Canyon tonight Grady? Still not sure myself as it's awfully nice up here today and we have that 2 day show up this way next weekend.

Half the lies they tell about me aren't true.
