Cody is young, and is learning. Give him a chance. I also have had a chance to talk to him and he's a great kid. He definitely has the right attitude and you can't teach that.......

like i said before... just a bunch of keyboard racers that know nothing.

Gees, reading all of these comments, there seems to be an awful lot of experienced sprint car drivers on here! Friggin idiots! I don't see you jerk offs out there. I wanna see you go out and try to hang onto 900 horse power in a 1400 lb. car. Better yet, just stay behind your keyboards, the world will be a safer place.

some of you people never cease to amaze me! Cody is a great kid and will get better once he learns the tracks.I am sure Kasey will be patient as he probably realizes that the kid missed a whole year,is young and talented and will almost certainly improve. so he makes some mistakes,so does a seasoned veteran like dolansky who made one of the most boneheaded moves i have ever seen at WG and then in an interview made it seem like no big deal while displaying a smirk for the ages. so all i can say is that all the people who fancy themselves experts are in reality, just spurts!I'm out...........

cody still has the 1 lap qualifying record at knoxville from 2009 at 14.547 ...the other night blew motor on the white flag lap while running 3rd ..his fault? there has been an abundance of broken parts on his cars all season many while running up front which are not his fault. has he wrecked yes all his fault no ..... like dirt dog said i think cody tries too hard and takes chances he shouldnt because of the pressure to run up front....some times you gotta slow down to go faster.....im sure the big dogs tore up alot of stuff early in their careers

Good grief, the poor young kid gets into the wall in the very first turn and collects another car, think it was Joey last name prounced MoHan (spelling very bad-sorry).
To think if he had not broken his leg prior to the first race last year, it might have been a completely different story. That's life.
Lawlessness and liberalism equals Hell. NY City,
Detroit, Seattle, Chicago, Minnepolis, etc. We saw it.
Burning hundreds of buildings, a thousand assaults and
dozens of murders. Getting worser and worser.

Well Kasey pays the bills and decides at the end of the day i just hope the kid doesnt hurt someone else. yes rookies can go through some equipment but it's been awhile since we've seen one like this. I don't recall this many wrecks even back in 06 when we had 5 or so rookies at once.

"Fire Darrah" threads never get old or make me yawn.
(lol)
I read them on occasion to see if there is anything new being said... not so much.
I was thinking about NFL quarterbacks in relation to Darrah. I would think in their first year that Roger Staubach, Joe Montana, Terry Bradshaw, John Elway and Tom Brady were flawless. No interceptions, no stupid mistakes, no fumbles... mistake-free football. For sure they started right away, right? (no)
Everyone can have an opinion on "is he ready to be on the road?" questions... but non-stop Darrah threads get old like saying water is wet or air is good to breathe. DUH. Enough already.
Cody hasn't even been on the road a year and he's been fired on this board at least 800 times. When Kasey says so... it's done. Until then... shut up about this already. Boycott Red Bull... refuse to buy their products. All 8 of you that are so worked up about Darrah can bankupt their company. I'm sure they'll go broke without your patronage.

I would love to see this team hook back up with Andy Potter...doubt that will happen though. Hang in there Cody and learn from this buddy, you have many many years of racing in front of you!
I have Andy's cell number btw
The world is full of critics...Aim High, you'll be happy with the results!

Cody Darrah is extremely talented, hence why HE is out there driving a Sprint Car and you people are sitting at home bashing him on your computer. If you think you are more capable of driving a sprint car then you should get off your asses and maybe someone will hire you. He has been through a great deal over the past year and still has the passion and ability to get out there and get back in the car. Kasey obviously has faith in Cody's ability and potential and sorry to disappoint all you "nice" people but Cody isn't going anywhere. Get used to seeing/hearing his name and shut up!

Back up a bit Pal!! Us Yanks are most likely covering your ass wherever your from.. Take a history lesson and see how many times us Yanks kept you from being rolled over by Hitler and others! If you take our troops for granted you might not have them backing you next time. Our U.S. troops are more than likely fighting for YOU!!!!

Let's not lie now. Cody has never owned the one lap qualifying record at Knoxville. Not sure what race is "the other night". Must not be talking about Knoxville because he never saw anyting close to an A feature or anything close to 3rd position in either B main he ran. Sorry, let me check that. He did start on pole in the B of his qual night and was likely momentarily in 3rd during his descend to 7th finishing position. Pretty sure he never blew up while in town. He did crash twice though.

Some good advice for you,,,,,,Don't ever get on a Yankee forum and talk smack about The U.S.A. We have too many family and friends fighting abroad. Your the kind of people that talk smack untill you come under attack on your homeland and come crying for help!!

The U.S. TROOPS are apart of our government... It doesnt matter what dates were fought but the outcome. Its easy to pick sides and bitch about U.S. relations overseas when you havent been attacked on your home soil as of late!! If you think the U.S. chooses to fight terrorrism its not by choice. They started the war !! If you get attacked tomorrow by terrorism we will see if your opinion is the same.

I AGREE WE NEED TO STOP TERRORISM TOGETHER. But you need to look at the big picture....Iraq..... where's the weapons of mass destruction???? It's all about OIL!!! And most of the free world knows it.

Holy cow this site is getting crazy. I for one, don't know Cody at all. I just basically stated that it has to be getting a little costly with all the wrecks. As far as his future, that is between him and KKR. I'm sure he is a great kid, but he is lucky to be with a team that has some cash because other teams just couldn't afford him.
