Awe come on Leon. McGriff actually raced up here in the early 80's when I was a little girl at Evergreen Speedway in Monroe, Washington (about 7 miles from my house). Folks did take me to the races then as well. He raced into the late 1990s if not mistaken. Used to own a lumberyard in Portland, Oregon, and if my "young" memory serves me right, he used to be called "Grampa McGriff"..... :-)

Very funny Kelly. I went to a NASCAR race once. After I fell asleep in my chair the three of us left. Went to the hotel. We did go to the Sprint Car races that night though.Nobody sleeping there...
