I've got an older 1970s era photo that I am waiting to stump Ron on this coming January in my annual trivia contest. If I remain as busy as I have been throughout a good share of this year, I likely will only do the sprint car division in the contest. That was the only division in the first contest and will ALWAYS be in the contest!

Greg:
It would be nice of you to post a few more photos/questions for your trivia contest from the 60's, 70's & 80's. Hope you also have the Late Models as part of your trivia contest as well.

I finally got a few minutes tonight to dig deep into the archives. The blue and white car in the photo is the Baumann #66 sprinter. I went back to my 1984 photos, Jackson results and other yearbook info from that era. I would have to agree with sprint75c that it would be Vance Peterson in the Baumann #66 car from 1984. I know there were several drivers in the Baumann car over the years. The ones I remember the best would be Marlon Jones and Jon Barger. Dan Mansfield also drove the car before Jones got in it. I believe Rich Brahmer had a stint in the car after Jones and before Barger.
It was a blast looking back at some of the old Jackson Speedway programs from 1979-1990.

Ron,
I'm sure I will find time to work up a late model division as well. Likely no mods, supers, streets, etc. No time to work on those. Sprints are 100% for sure!!! I've got some older 1960s stuff. Maybe one from that era, but that 1970s photo should prove to be a real stumper. Of course, you and Micheal P and maybe a few others will probably end up getting it right.
