For the High Limit races they need to sign.  Because there are rewards for racing the whole schecule above and beyond the payouts.

I don't know where you were looking but the hard charger came from 21st starting position to finish 8th. Another big mover went form 25th to 13th. Another one went from 27th to 16th.  All of these are a lot more than 5.

I know these all count as positions gained.  Just curious--I did not get to see it--were these passes or attrition?

He won a PA Speedweek race there last year or the year before.

Thanks, I knew I saw him win there more than once...

Now I remember!

They were mostly passes.  Rahmer did spin running second about ready to pass for the lead.

California posse wins Lincoln. I've never heard of Devon Borden, but good on him for coming in 3rd behind Californians Abreu and Sweet.

It won't be long before everyone knows who Devon Borden is. His crew chief and team co-owner Jim Shuttlesworth is an elite mechanic. He played a huge role in turning Anthony Macri from a dart without feathers into the leading feature winner in the country. He is a former racer himself in Super Sportsman and Late models and he was damn good. He's as good of a driver coach as he is a crew chief. Devon is an outstanding young man. He has a great head on his shoulders and he's laser focused on being a winner. He's been a bit wild at times but he's a flat out gasser with an ungodly amount of natural talent. He's looking phenomenal since taking over the 23. He's gonna have a break out season this year. He's got the raw talent and now he has a crew chief who is gonna refine him into a very frequent winner.

100% I expect the same. Maybe 10 wins or so.

It might happen this year but I am not so sure. I do expect this to be the year that determines whether he becomes a winner or goes back home.He can go real fast by himself but so far I have only seen him win from the front row. MOst times I see him slowing backing up while trying real hard to wreck the thing. Macri might have been a dart with no feathers before Shuttlesworth but his ability to get through traffic is something few have no matter the crew chief but it does take a good handleing car. Where many need restarts to advance Macri's best friend is a long green flag run because he is so good in traffic. Borden is going to have to stop trying to be someone else and develope his own style. I have watched him drive straight into wall while trying to be someone else.

Have you seen him yet this year? Judging by your comments, I'm thinking not. Kevin Gobrecht, Brian Montieth and Todd Shaffer are 3 drivers who were every bit as wild as Devon in their first few years and his style reminds me so much of all 3. He's gonna win and he's gonna win a lot. He's looked phenomenal this year. He's become so much more patient and he's been passing cars. His performance against the outlaws last week was super impressive. He has looked awesome this year. If you haven't seen it yet, you will soon.
