I don't know how you can call the Chili Bowl deal a scam.  They've clearly said the last three races on Sat will be on MavTV.  I'm looking forward to the prelim races on Flo.  Those are usually some of the better races of the week and I expect Flo to do it right.

I don't see Flo's subscription as a scam either.  They said it costs $12.50 a month.  That's exactly what it costs.  You just have to pay for a year up front.  The real scam is Dirtvision calling their's a monthly subscription when it's clearly only 4 weeks.  You end up paying 13 payments if you keep it all year.

But whatever you call it it's nice to be able to watch a lot of racing for what I think is decent pricing for both.

I agree about DirtVision... and I think it's just their pride that won't give in and make this right.

Now is 39.99 for four weeks of WoO racing a good deal?  Absolutely, but that's not the point.

It's flat out shady for DirtVision to call their deal a monthly subscription.  It's not true, it's not right and they ought correct it.   Is all the negative talk about their brand, the negative talk about the DirtVision brand worth it?

come on DirtVision, admit it's wrong and misleading and make the change.  We all want you and the WoO org to have the greatest success

Mavtv is available for free on roku. I think it's under the roku channel or something like that. A Roku stick is like $20.

That isn't the same channel as MAVTV. That is MAVTV Select. A cool station, watched a two year old Port Royal All Star last night. But, that won't be showing the Chili Bowl.

Question, does anyone know if there are any channels where a guy can get MAVTV by the month?  Last year I got MAVTV through a channel called Tikilive for something like $5.99 for the month.  I got it for the month so I could watch Saturday night of the Chili Bowl then cancelled it and still have an account with them but somebody said they do not carry MAVTV anymore.  Does anyone know if there are still any of those channels where a person can get MAVTV for under $10 for one month?

I have Floracing so I can watch the week leading up to the finale but wondering if there's a low cost way to get the Saturday broadcast for a reasonable price like we did last year.  It's not a huge deal if I can't find anything, if that happens I will wait and watch hilites on Youtube.

NKT.TV has it for $6.99 - they also show a one week free trial if you time it right ;-)

When I saw all the USAC races they were broadcasting at the start of the 2019 season, I jumped right on it and never looked back. Watching the USAC National boys working their way over to the left side for our Western and the Ovals was so damn cool. I also get to see USAC/CRA, their 360's, and western states Midgets too. AZ has been captured by USAC, so I see them run as well. Oh, all the big car races too. And so much more wing and none wing racing from coast to coast.
I really enjoyed the 2019 full season and I knew it would be better in 2020, and it would have been without the pandemic that turned the whole season on its ear. Nevertheless, it was a blessing in these times, for me.

I guess I'm different in the fact that when I look at a product and decide it's something I want at a price I feel is reasonable to me, I purchase it. If I feel it does neither of the two I don't purchase it. I don't get all the whining and crying and vendetta's over FLO & Dirtvision that some people seem to have.

Whether it is someone thinking they could pay monthly instead of all upfront even though they will give you a full refund if you want that goes matter, might as well call it a Ponzai scheme. Even though the it's still the same price & after a year of complaining about them we now know there is no monthly payment, some want to complain over 1 race despite how many hundred races you can watch, might as well call them GLR. Even though it states on a site you have to cancel, plus an email from the company each month,  and the countless posts on message boards people still forget to cancel subscription and act like the company is worst than the Enron fiasco. Even though there is only 10 months of racing here in the US and a majority of people only pay for 10 cycles or less, we'll argue about semantics like 13 billing cycles as if this is a Ticketmaster convenience charge or a buy 1 get 1 50% with different font.

Some people that complain about these things are the people who complain at the store when they don't get the discount for Name Brand merchandise because they saw the Store Brand is discounted and placed in the same aisle way.

I suscribed to FLO because I wanted to catch a handful of races during the month of September.

They creatively worded a 'monthly' plan that I fell for. I believe they have since changed the wording.

I'm sure the yearly sub is great but I don't sit around all day & night and watch racing, I have other shit to do, and other interests.

I filed a complaint with the BBB to help get my money back for the 11 months they 'creatively' took from me.  And guess what? There were hundreds of other complaints exactly like mine, from race fans, wrestling fans, sports fans alike. Complaint after complaint.

It's not the $150, It's principal of the thing. I won't be back to this thread to see what a whiny bitch I am so just save the key strokes, Or don't. I don't really give a shit.

Peace & love,

Saphead

You go on with your awesome self, your insight just really keeps me coming back to this lame ole site. Anything that irritates you must really have no speck of integrity at all and your words are to live by. Thanks for saving us smart ones that know whos is real and who is not.  I think I'll start sleeping better now that I know someone like you is looking out for me.

Be careful out there! If you purchase one of those gingerbread house kits, you could run the risk of it having some imperfections. That would be a bummer. It could scar you for life. You could lose your faith in the entire gingerbread house community. It could even spill over into a longtanding dislike for Keeble Elves, or midgets.

This is f'ing hilarious. $150/year for a ton of races. The value is insane. The complaints about prodcution value is over the top. Yes, some are better than others, but what's the alternative. No coverage? Come on people. Don't look a gift horse in the mouth. Pony up your $$$'s and enjoy.

Here is hoping Flo pulls off some kind of deal for POWRi next. WoO, USAC and POWRi all live under two umbrella's? Sign me up!
