I'm paying for Dirtvision & Flo, which is fine cause I'm not spending anything going to races, but doubt if I'll spring for Speedshift (Atomic) for just one race

Is Rico going with him To Atomic?

I'll respond to your post, I agree....

Larsen has the skill and equipment that he should man up and follow the Woo or the All Stars regularily and not cherry pick. However his presence may do the track well financially and who knows .... maybe he goes for that reason. I would hope if he showed up just for the track, to help out the struggling facility etc he would also walk away with just enough money to cover his costs and go for the gravy at the level he should be playing at, but that's easy to say and unlikely.

Him and his car owner are racing to win races. Reminds me of when Doug Wolfgang drove the 8d sprint car during the 1989 season when there was the WoO, USA and All Star races and local races to choose from. Wolfgang did not commit to any series and they ran where and when they wanted to. And won 40+ races, including the Knoxville Nationals and a $50,000 payday at Selinsgrove. I don't remember any one picking on Wolfgang for cherry picking.

Shit, most of us have wanted Kyle back racing dirt track races while he's in his prime, age wise, to see what he can do. I'ts been awesome the last several months to see him (on the computer) kick butt at Pevely, sweep the WoO at Knoxville, win All Star races, race a midget in Indiana and win, win in Pennsylvania and now in Ohio. I don't think he's been cherry picking considering he's been racing against the best of the best in different series, states/tracks, and type of cars.

I guess we got what we asked for, wanting Larson back running dirt/open wheel full time now and THIS is what we get!!! Wins and podium finishes for the most part. Enjoy it before he goes back to Nascrap next year.....

My only gripe is, I was hoping he could've done the double at Knoxville this weekend during the Cornbelt Nationals, ran the non-wing both nights and the 410 class tonight!

Your FloRacing subscription includes anything that would be on SpeedShift now since Flo bought SpeedShift.  Atomic had posted that they weren't streaming last night.

I see and understand what your saying about the dollar side of Larson showing up. Bell came into pa for a couple speedweek shows and had terrible luck. I think Larson is having the time of his life. Running a true outlaw type schedule that we all wanted to see.  The rumours of him getting back in a cup car at this point are just that rumours. If he does, I say enjoy it while you can, if next year comes and he's not in a cup car I wouldn't be surprised to see the same type of schedule. Unless of course the WRG pays him well to follow the outlaw deal. Options, options, what a tuff life. With his homes out east up for sale, does he move back to the west coast ? I doubt it.

Read on Twitter that Larson blew a tire while leading. Anyone there last night that can confirm?

Yes he did. Started 3rd and took the lead fairly early. Had a few restarts the first half of the feature and he shredded the right rear with 19 to go. Lined up 16th and came up to 6th.

Kemenah went to the back early as well and finished 5th. Not sure if officials didn't see two cars spun to a stop in 3&4 but they were there as the leaders were at the end of the backstretch. Larson missed them, Kemenah & Stewart had no where to go and spun into them. Stewart wasn't able to continue.

Hunter Scherenburg ended up winning with Cole Duncan nipping at his heals. Race was pretty good all throughout the field

I know a bunch of Star Struck fans are going to get their panties in a bunch over this. I know the tracks are doing great with Larson showing up and increasing their crowds right now. Has anyone given any thought to the finances of the local teams with the NASCAR money showing up and taking the lions share of the purse money out of their local teams pockets. After all they are the teams that you will want to be around when he gets back to NASCAR and he will at his first chance and I don't blame him. Before anyone says I am a hater. I have brought this up with other teams and have said that Pa. has better weekly racing now than we had with the big money teams that we have lost because the money gets spread around more. Larson is a great driver but I can tell you money and his crew chief are doing as much of this as he is. Watch how he drives off from everyone on restarts that is as much motor and crew chief as anything. Last week at Port Royal Marks was just as fast but Larson pulled away from him so much on restarts Marks never had a chance to make move on him. Now have at it but this has been my opinion long before Larson came back to sprint cars.

"I can tell you money and his crew chief are doing as much of this as he is. Watch how he drives off from everyone on restarts that is as much motor and crew chief as anything."

That certainly crossed my mind the last couple of weeks, his car just seems faster, like the old days with homebuilt cars & engines...
But with rules keeping everything pretty much the same, 410 cubes, minimum weight, mechanical injection only, etc. I don't know how much $$ has to do with it. There are other Big$$ teams & Kyle beats them all. Plus, he wins in Midget as well as 410. I'm gonna say Larson & Silva are a perfect fit, & Larson is head & shoulders above the other dirt track drivers

Agreed. Kyle and the 57 are just hooked up. He was in good cars before but not as dominant as he has been in the 57 plus he is just starting to get to some of these tracks for the maybe the 2nd or 3rd time in his career and you can tell how much this team improves the 2nd time they see a track. Yeah they have the best of the best equipment wise but so do a lot of other teams, even some of the local teams are on par or close to it. He's that good and the match with Silva is a big part too. I think Bell might be one of the best too if he ran sprints more. He looked just as fast and just as good but had bad luck. Running PA and OH speedweek races isn't exactly cherry picking IMO.

What? "Man up"?

He's running a true "outlaw" schedule, something sprint car fans used to admire.

If the other teams are tired of getting their asses handed to them, then there's one solution - step up your game and beat him.

I promise you this, there are a bunch of WoO teams in Wisconsin and All Star teams in eastern Ohio tonight who are glad the 57 is sitting in the pits at Atomic.

Super Chuck says to prepare yourself for more of this. Super Chuck is no Nostradamas (more like Nostra-dumbass) but Larson Fatigue will become a real thing, sooner rather than later. You win too much and the good ole boys that are high fiving and back slapping now...they will turn on you. Happens to the best of them, and Yung Baby Jesus is about as good as they come.

Super Chuck
