Macedo in the 2, Stewart in the 5.  Macedo will most likely be running a second car in Charlotte.

Gravel will be in the 5, Stewart will be in the 2. Macedo will be in a SECOND KLR car for the World Finals, then the 2 car in 2019 with Stewart moving to the 5 car in 2019.

I don't think gravel is an extremely talented driver I'd just say average in terms of the pros. I'd say the one thing hes got going for him if he wants to try to make it to nascar is hes young.

Whaaaa???

3rd in WoO points 3 years in a row, National Open winner, sweeps qualifying nite at Knoxville Nats & almost wins except for engine failure?

So everybody except Schatz must be "average"????

All that to say " Dave Gravel, a proven top World of Outlaws driver, will be backing it in again in 2019."

Its nice to know that I'm not the only one who gets tired of reading a book for one tidbit of information.  The about section that rattles off dozens of sponsors is typically ten times more ink that anything in the announcement.  I guess money makes all this necessary but wouldn't it be nice to read "thanks to everyone for a great season, I'll be back next year" just one time?   wink

yeah, well maybe above average - this year, anyway Smile

That 15 car can make an average racer out of just about anybody.

Just listened to Gravel with Erin on Winged Nation sounds like maybe Gravel did get that phone call he was hoping for at the end of the interview. If not if he does leave the 5 good luck just not that many rides available.

On another note it was great to see photos of Billy Pauch Jr. in victory lane in the #27 speedster at Selinsgrove, I know its alot to process but I hope Mike Heffner does keep on racing maybe even chabge his number but keep on racing,I am sure thats what Greg would want.

Silly season....TSR 15 will have Ford power next year and will win around 20 races and win another title.  Would think another team will go the Ford route...wonder who it will be?  I guess that was more of a guess than anything pertaining to silly season but oh well.

Top 3 in points.....he better, he's in one of the top 3 rides in the whole sprint car world. One national open win.....doesnt mean much in terms of greatness. Qualifyng night......(crickets). "Almost wins" nationals......thats weak. I "Almost" did alot of stuff. He' s good driver and everyone is at that level but that is as far as I'd go with it.

lol. You on this kick again.  How great was the CJB car before Gravel got in it.  Mcmahan was decent....Rahmer was thought to be washed up in it, so was Stevie, what happened when they got out of it.   They picked up some help from Big Game so that has helped but crew chief is same as Freddie’s .  And that is 2 Natty Opens not 1....how many other Outlaws have won at the Grove lately.  i said it before....if I needed to win one race and had a good car he would be in my top 6-7 sprint car drivers in the world Id put in the ca right now.

The list of drivers who have won at Knoxville, Eldora and Williams Grove isn’t very long, and Gravel did It before he turned 25. He’s also a driver who elevates his ride, like the Dude used to.

Gravel only got the 5 ride because Sammy went in and helped straighten out their program before they pretty much kicked him to the curb..

gravel in the 41

I love silly season and wish I could believe everything people post in this thread. Even though it doesn't mean people are right... I wish they'd share some insight of their sources.

Seems like if that were true they'd field a 2nd car for Sammy right now....
