Yes I don't see the Matus', Garvin, or Spithaler running the full tour next year and staying home to run those 3k to win races. Holtgrsver will probably do the same unless he gets some kind of big sponsorship help. Maybe Bowser in the Chiapelli 98 would givd it a shot as far as western pa guys go.

Looks like my guess was spot on, bowser to run full tour

According to Area Auto the Matus team will run pretty much the same schedule as last year ,plus I would expect the Mackison team to reurn since they made most of the shows the last two years.
Throw in Jac,Paul Mcmahon for most shows and Joey and Tim for alot of them and hopefully Dale can come up with something this couls be the best All Star feild ever oh and I forgot Tony.

Port Royal regular Logan Wagner has been announced as the new driver of the Zemco 1z. So Dale Blaney is definitely out of that ride.

The Mackison Brothers made 18 and 16 races each. Well less than 50% of the features contested at 49.

They only qualified for that many features. They attended all the races (excepting the FL swing I believe). They were getting better at the end of year but I'm just stating a statistic. Nothing further.

Thats what I meant they appeared at most of the shows the last two years and all though they did not make alot of the features I believe the expierence is making them better .
I believe in the last two years the only two to drop off during the year were Brad Howard and Ryan Linder.
Anyine have any backgrond on Ayrton Olsen I dont believe I ever saw him race.
Also I am sure Ryan Smith will make alot of the shows if he doesnt join full time.

Ayrton is (I believe) heading into his 2nd year behind a 410, young kid out of Indy. Raced at Atomic a bit weekly, branched out further at the end of last year. Pretty sharp looking operation for being so young.

I've never heard of him. But I'm sure its due to the region of the country I live in and not following his local tracks. Between running at unfamiliar tracks and the talent level of the ASCoC this year he will have the tiger by the tail so to speak. I hope he does well.

I've seen Olsen race at Fremont and Atomics, the kid is raw but he does seem to have some talent and decent equipment. I'm not saying he's gonna blow everyone out of the water but he's a solid driver and will develop into a good driver with more experience.
Also longtimemitch fan I just misinterpretted what you were saying. No harm done, they're young but will develop. Enjoyed watching them race last year. Still joke with my girlfriend about time at Wayne Co this year when Jordan went over the wall in turns 1 and 2 battling for final transfer spot and then Hunter followed after him and got stuck on top of wall (Hunter was in frontstretch when Jordan flipped).

Jac is running the family (Sheldon's) #93 ride and planning on doing the full All Star Tour but he is looking for additional sponsorship support. Not sure if that means the decision to run the full year harbingers on the more support needed thing or not. Guess it also depends how he is on equipment. When was the last time Jac was in his own funded ride? I'm not sure.

Looks like Jac won;t be ready for Florida. However, it sounds to me like none of those shows will be points races and he is planning to run the entire All Star Tour Afterwards

Sorry to dig up an old thread but looks like Ryan Smith will NOT be full time All Star this year. Pick and choose according to Phoenix Racing (they mention in another thread that Ryan will be still running the 94 car at select PA (mostly) shows).

Bummed to see them not on tour but I think it's probably the best situation for both of them. Damn sharp looking car though, hope to see them at Mansfield or Attica this year.
