Does anyone in the know realisticly think Badlands could be open next year.

I'm sure it's just coincidence that the WoO have the week of the 4th open, but that's when they have always had a show at Husets/BMS. It sure seems like everyone is getting there schedules out early, although I've never really paid attention before. As far as the track selling it has to be overwhelming obvious that they will never get anything close to 9.4 million.

Doesn't seem like a coincidence at all. The 4th of July falls on a Wednesday next year. The Outlaws are booked the Fri and Sat before, and the Fri and Sat after the holiday. So the 4th doesn't really appear to be an attractive date to schedule at all. Not to say that a track in the vacinity might not come through and ask for that day, of course. But my guess would be most of the tracks are approaching those weekends as their 4th of July races in one manner or another.
