I'm bettin someone is smok n them myself, supposed big sponser and supporter expresses himself like a child. Perhaps if he could express himself intelligently with some semblance of grammer, he might be believed as a businessman. Too late for that now though, can you say exposed.......

I heard from a very reliable source that mark will be switching gears and next year plans to race lawnmowers.

Now that would be cool.   A lawnmower would look awesome with that same color scheme he uses on the sprint car!

Murphy,   the rumor is untrue that Team 13 is splitting up.  The All Stars come into the conversation because Team 13 may just be moving on up to next level for the possible end results before we are all to OLD !!!   only the best go 4 abreast  WOO

I missed a word in there due to me having to run my own company and doing many things at the same time.  Try it some time.

Wow!!!  You run your own company!!  I can tell.  Your professionalism shows through--you know, since you are posting about someone's race team on a sprint car forum before they make any announcements.  How can I invest in this Fortune 500 company?

By the way, my post makes perfect sense-only because I am not involved in the daily rigors of running a company as complicated and fast-paced as yours.  I have lots of time to post-you know, since my job requires no responsibilities.  In fact, if I have typos in any future emails or memos, I will simply blame my busy work schedule for the lack of professional conduct.

Give me a break.

I may be alone in this, but I would find it absolutely HILARIOUS if smoknthem actually turns out to be who he/she purports to be.

I mean, stranger things HAVE happened. At one time drivers and team owners actually posted on Hoseheads. Of course, that was before all of the self-appointed experts began spewing their vitriol on nearly every post.

I am lucky enough to work at one of the best tracks
anywhere.

He had a good year.  Does anyone know how much in total purse he won just counting feature wins.  I don't know what any of the tracks he won at this year pay for winning the feature except Knoxville.  IBRacing shows him at 7 wins which must be wrong wrong, hell Wade Nygaard, another Grand Forks local is listed as winning 8 races.

Lawlessness and liberalism equals Hell. NY City,
Detroit, Seattle, Chicago, Minnepolis, etc. We saw it.
Burning hundreds of buildings, a thousand assaults and
dozens of murders. Getting worser and worser.

he won the jackson points championship???... he won in knoxville one of the few times he was down there, 12th in the nationals Amain, silver shootout winner, sounds like a pretty decent year. swap team 13 with about half of the guys on the outlaw tour and i dont foresee those guys having the same level of sucess mark had this year

doubt an Outlaw regular would care much about those stats , 0 wins with the outlaws , yes he has won in the past , points at jackson yes , wins -0 ,    cost a lot of $ to run with the Outlaws  and not much of a return on investment , Outlaws seems to be a one man show lately = boring

Right but mark has ran about 10-12 outlaw shows this year, I’m saying if he was on the tour running 90 some races a year I think he would have more success that about half the guys on the tour and probably have a win or two, pretty irrelivent to say 0 wins in very few outlaw races

All-star tour is going to be less based on travel and show dates. Right now the biggest cost for these owners is toter and trailer. They keep getting bigger and longer. You get past those costs, many go to the trade shows and make as many manufacturer deals as possible. Most start the season with 5 to 6 cars in various forms of completion.  Today many go to were the price is right. Motors are without question the single biggest expense for guys that travel. A new team just starting out would spend  probably close to 1 million.

Didn't there used to be some kind of deal where if you were so high in points the year before you would get a toter for the next year?  Speaking of this I heard back in the early 2000s Steve Kinser basically only had to pay for his motors and that was at a signifigantly reduced price.  From what I heard he had a deal with Maxim, Sander and so on to where he was given all this stuff.  Then at the end of the year he would sell the leftover rollers for somewhere around $10,000 a peice.  Was this true?
