I think many drivers would call Tulare the most challenging track in California. The fastest way around eventually is up to the wall. One slight error and bad things happen.
Last year the track was widened by 15 or so feet, making for more grooves and the sliders returned. Jason Meyers won a preliminary night main running on an area of track that did not exist a month earlier.
Sometimes it seems like there should be a list of which drivers are approved to run the top at Tulare. It is a fast and exciting track, but it demands respect.

The Tulare Thunderbowl is such a great track and Trophy Cup is a must see weekend event during the end of October! Most CA drivers will say it is their favorite track including Kyle Larson. Also, lots of money is raised for the Make a Wish Foundation. It's only 1 month away so make sure to get your tickets and hotel or camping reservation.
Looking forward to the new Golden State King of the
West series schedule!
