No one has mentioned the safety factor the wings provide in crashes.....especially at the larger high speed joints.

Whoops, missed it rev.......good point though......I love watching them, but have seen fatalities and had good friends badly injured in non wings......too each his own I guess........it's all good ............SC

1 thing not mentioned yet isn the fact that the cars are totally different nowadays. It's not as simple as just tasking the wings off. Yes you could do that but you wouldn't stand a chance against a non-wing chasis.

I'm the same way. I've never seen a fatality yet, don't know how I'd react...
A 600 mini sprint driver got hurt really bad when I was at Path Valley a while ago, but I was getting food at the time. Still not sure how he's doing, but I don't think its very well....
