I don’t know about the rest of you, but I would rather that the 17W car be able to finish the season, get a new driver (and competent mechanic) for next year and be a strong contender on the Woo circuit in the future.

If that means they get some questionable exemptions to retain their preferred status, and traveling money, that’s fine with me.

That being said, there were already people on this board asking earlier this week if Haud could get into Canada, because I believe it has been an issue in the past. How does this kind of thing escape their attention?

This ride looks more and more like a fly-by-night operation. I’d like to see it succeed, but this lack of attention to detail makes me question how viable this team can be.

this is the second time he has been denied entry into canada...

So Jac is an icon and his personal life from when he was maybe 17 yrs old is now our business.  Possession charges can sit with anyone for their entire life. Im not saying he has this, just an example of what is seemingly simple isnt. Personal question for y all. How many posters on hoseheads cant come visit me on a whim? Just saying!

You should apply for the job! You seem to be an expert on everything.  I am sure you would get it turned around in no time

I'm not interested in taking a pay cut. On the other hand, I can spot a dipshit when I see one, and I didn't even stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night.

Didnt this mechanic win the Kings Royal, Ironman 55 and place on the podium at the Kville Nats 2 years ago?

What's he done in the last 2 years?  Pretty long stretch of B-main appearances and back-up beapers in any A-main his car starts in.

Definitely looks like a fly-by-night operation.  Still running an unpainted/lettered tail tank from a crash almost a month ago?

Out of curiosity, was the 17W in the pits and/or awarded any owner points last night?

He has had to deal with drivers past their prime.
