This coming from a long time Walker fan. I think at this point, his dad is probably the only one willing to take a shot on him. I can see him doing alot of west coast shows with the occasional big show during the month of money. Who knows, will be excited to see him if he comes back to the midwest.

Tyler's no young gun anymore. Also, what's generating these rumors?

I started the post. Reason being, I did see somewhere he was going to try a comeback, not sure if he was in Florida looking around or what. Being new on this forum I asked the basic questions and to date have never got a solid response other than the bad mothers which are on every forum out there in cyber land. I do not respect those types nor do I get into pissing matches with them. I do laugh at them for being so pathetic that they bad mouth individuals that they trully no nothing about. Some wish him good fortunes even if he does not make it back as I do to. The guy was exciting to watch and I think it would be exciting to see him make a full comeback so that he could close that chapter of his life and move on to a new one. Each and everyone of us has a chapter in that book we would have liked for a different result.

I agree, one of the most exciting racers I've ever had the pleasure of watching. I hope the rumblings are true.

I can assure you those that are bad mouthing Tyler on this forum know about who they bad mouth.  They are not speculating.  Videos, news headlines, court documents and public criminal records are not speculation.

Best of luck Tyler. Anyone who puts forth the effort and expense to pull in the pit gate is appreciated by this and I am sure many other humble race fans. We all wake up daily with no choice but to stand up facing forward to the future.

Yes, but that was not yesterday.  I do not know what his life is like now and neither do the anti Walker people.  I am sure he is probably still on probation and has to take regular blood or urine tests.  If he fails he is in trouble.  I hope he has turned things around for good.  His past was drug addiction talking and is to big of a subject to talk about now.

Not disagreeing with you.  I was simply stating the fact that those bashing Tyler are not pulling their feelings out of thin air and are not talking about someone they know nothing about.  Tyler put his own life in the public light---no one else did.  Those commenting on him have every right to jump into his personal life.  His personal life is now public record.

I would like to see him do an interview.  If he still looks like a coked-up snow boarder---I don't have any use for him.  If he looks like he cleaned up, let him go racing.

All the sympathy is sprint car racing has not put a dent in the problem...because the problem is not a lack of sympathy.

I agree completely.  Judging by the comments I'm reading on here, I think I'm in the minority.  Let me start out by saying that I truly hope he does get his life together.  I also can't disagree that the guy is or was incredibly talented.  I don't know him personally but based on what I've seen, this guy is a total ass (sorry if that's not allowed on here).  But for all the people defending Tyler, can I ask why?  I'm sure most of us have seen the videos of him acting like an ass, is that someone you think should represent sprint car racing?  He had the potential to be what Kyle Larson is today and he has blown every oportunity he's had.  I'm sure he got caught up with the wrong people but who's fault is that?  Like I said I hope he gets his life together, but I hope he never gets another oportunity in racing again.  How many talented drivers are out there that just don't have the money or know the right people that will never get this oportunity he had?  I think he can make a great example in any sport of how not to act when you hit the "big leagues".  Very talented but no matter how good you are, your attitude and actions can still destroy your life.

I've stuck up for Tyler over the years from that standpoint of a racefan loving to watch drivers go balls out every night they get in the car. I like to be entertained when i go to the races and love him or hate him, he's entertaining. If you're a racefan that takes it personal what he does outside of racing then so be it, you have the right not to like him because of that. I choose to not let my emotions be affected by what others do, espcecially somebody I personally dont know. I'm not defending his actions, he's done some idiotic things. I'd rather just enjoy sprint car racing for what it is. Entertainment.

Thankfully the Haudenschilds have given my family something to root for without the worry of any negativity surrounding them. Go HAUD'S!

Can he legally leave the state without breaking his probation? I figured that's why he was racing around Cali last year.

You're correct.  I have no problem with what anyone does in their personal life.  I really don't even care if he gets clean.  I always told my employees (when I used to supervise) I don't care what u do from 4:00 pm to 7:00 am.  Come to work clean and don't do anything to reflect badly on our business.  Tyler broke both of those rules multiple times with public actions (as seen on YouTube) failed drug tests, and finally a multi-state high-speed police chase with large amounts of illegal drugs. The last one involved him endangering the lives of men women and children.

Also, those of you playing the "we all make mistakes" card, just stop. .

First of all, I want to say thank you.  I fully expected to be blasted when I checked this tonight.  We have a difference of opinion but you felt no need to attack me and for that I sincerely say thank you.  I can totally respect and understand your position of wanting to see a good race and not going to a race to see a "nice guy".  When I say I don't like the guy or want him to get another opportunty, I have two main reasons.  First of all I have two kids, when he won the Kings Royal a couple of years ago, I couldn't believe his language.  This doesn't bother me but I don't want my kids to hear it, I can understand a slip or two but he was cussing the whole time he was being interviewed on TV.  Also if they would decide to do a google search on him after seeing him race, the responses from a Tyler Walker google search is not something I would want them to think sprint car racing is all about.  Second reason is over the years I've met a lot of racers who just need a little bit of a break and they say and do all the right things but for various reasons they can't catch a break, I know life isn't fair but to see a guy who has such a huge opportunity and blew every one of them, there are thousands of people in the world who would kill to be in the situation he was in bugs me.

I have to say about the Hauds though, I couldn't agree more.  I don't know anything about Sheldon but Jac is a very cool guy.  To see him drive and then to meet him, I would never guess that's the same guy.  He seems to have about as laid back of a personality as could be but that man can flat out drive.

I can understand what  you  are saying but have you looked up the drug use and addiction that  singers and musicians have had in past?  Many have  cured the addiction and others have died.  Do you want your kids to listen to thier music.  I would explain to kids that he has been in alot of trouble with drug addiction in past and that you hope he is cured.  Tell them how bad drug addiction is.
