I drove out to Eldora straight from Lernerville for the race last night and I'm so glad I did. 410 sprint cars will always be my favorite and obviously the trucks didn't come close to the sprint cars speeds, but it was some great racing last night. Ran into Tony Stewart and jokingly asked if he was coming over to Williams Grove tomorrow and Saturday. He smirked and said "are you kidding me! You know how much shit I have going on this weekend?" Classic Tony. Was so glad to see Larson, Bell, and Rico Abreu in the top 3 tho....I was a happy dirt fan last night

Watching the Eldora truck race and I think this is the best surface they have had in the four year history. Agree? Lots of passing already in the heats and LCQ--last to first in the LCQ? That's pretty damned good. I think the feature will be pretty wild.
The only thing that sucks is listening to the clowns that broadcast Nascar. I would rather attend a Barry Manilow concert than listen to these clowns.

Race was OK, especially the top 3. But shoud've seen that track pre Stewart. More banking and typically had an actual cushion and less dust!

An old male nurse that was friends with my dad used to say racers should see how slow they can go instead of how fast as it would save a lot of money and be much safer. We used to laugh but apparently he was on to something.

the difference between pierce and larson is that kyle was using his brain, pierce was using the gas pedal, stuffed it into the wall right in front of us, no one to blame but himself imo...
Ascot was the greatest of all time..
West Capital wasn't half bad either..

Why do you have to be an asshole? The people posting on this topic obviously enjoyed the race so why do you feel the need to interject and post negative shit? Seriously dude. It's pretty easy, if you don't like it, don't watch it. I wasn't particularly entertained by the last few so I didn't watch this one and I'm sure as hell not going to come in here and tell the people that did watch it and did enjoy it that they shouldn't have. Do you like anything or are you just miserable? As much as you bitch and whine about there not being any "Fords" in sprint car racing and likewise talk about "Fords" doing well in late model racing, I'd think this would be right up your alley. There were plenty of "Fords" racing last night.

Didnt see only last part but I enjoyed it especially the three on top.It just goes to show if racecars are equal the top racers will find a way to win.I realize how good Larson,Rico,and Bell are and feel lucky they will still come back to where they came from.Nascar is were the money is and you cant blame anyone for taking the opportunity to better themselves.Gordon,Stewart ,Kahne were the same caliber and still enjoy[except Gordon]to race dirt when they can and its not for the money it is for their love of open wheel racing.Not that many have been successful as Steve,Sammy,Mark,Wolfie,and Donny have all tried .Blaney is back and had a decent run and I would guess made enough money to be comfortable and also gave his son an opportuinty in Nascar.
