i don't like time trials, adds expense to car owners, laps to the track surface and time to the program. Draw for heat starting position and race for a feature transfer spot.

Is this from a fan's perspective that has no vested interest, or from someone paying bills that thinks a draw is somehow fair and equitable?

You would think a draw would average out but I know in our case we for 2 years in a row average in the 40 s. Then you see the point leaders draw front row starts.

How many races are you winning from your 40 pill vs the guys who are drawing front row starts? I think it would be nice to see reporting from the random draw series that includes the draw. Then we can compare finishes to the random draw and have some empirical evidence that the draw is unfair or that the guys who start in the back of their heat are still winning races regularly.
