Sellers and Kent started on the front row for the thirty lap feature with Sellers taking the lead as the green flag fell. He kept the pace while Gastineau and Goodman had a torrid battle for the runner up position……..Lap ten saw Gastineau take the lead and quickly set sail from the rest of the field while behind him, Goodman had his hands full with Goodman and Sellers……McClelland started making his way into the top four from his sixth position and would get into the runner up position with less than ten laps to go. McClelland tried to put several slide jobs on Gastineau but the ?#2w? had just enough to take the four car length victory…..Chappell worked his way up from his eighteenth starting position to take home third while Johnny Kent and Goodman rounded out the top five……Really good racing with lots of passing and attempted slide jobs.
