2016 Red River Speedway Schedule unveiled; Red River Roundup Set for March 4-5
Wichita Falls TX (01/22/16) by DarinShort.com. The 2016 Red River Speedway (RRS) schedule is now posted at the track website, www.RRSpeedway.com and at www.facebook.com/RedRiverSpeedway (track Facebook page). There is a print formatted version available on the track website.
This is the first round of the schedule, which allows teams and fans to view the race nights scheduled for 2016.
The season kicks off with wall-to-wall open wheel racing divisions at the Red River Roundup on March 4-5. There is a complete event flyer and press release posted at our track website and Facebook pages.
The following weekend, March 11-12, will feature the Texas Outlaw Modified Series, IMCA SportMods, IMCA Stock Cars (100% RRS legal Pro Stocks will be allowed to race in this division) and Mini-Stocks. A complete event flyer and press release will be posted for this event soon.
Also note that RRS points division drivers will receive their 2015 track awards at the two above events. The RaceSaver Sprint Cars will receive their track awards on March 4-5, while the USRA Modifieds, IMCA SportMods, Pro Stocks and Mini Stocks will receive their track awards on March 11-12 (which coincide with the weekend their respective divisions are racing).
As in 2015, the balance of the racing season will have individual press releases and flyers posted as their event dates draw nearer.
