Kilgore TX (10/6/15) by DarinShort.com. Race fans have been waiting so long for the return of the ground-pounding Sprint Cars to LoneStar Speedway (LSS), that LoneStar Speedway (LSS) is going to double-down and give fans TWO great Sprint Car shows THIS Saturday October 10th, with the running of the Texas State Championships!

The American Bank of Oklahoma ASCS Red River Region presented by Smiley’s Racing Products competitors will be on hand with a complete program of heats and feature races. LSS is offering up a great competitor purse of $3,000 to win and $300 to start to ASCS teams.

Fans can expect superb field of ASCS Sprint Car drivers such as Kade Morton, Shawn Petersen, Joe Wood Jr, Mickey Walker, Chance Morton, Harli White, Charles McManus, Alex Sewell, Brandon Hanks, Andy Shouse, Sam Hafertepe Jr,  Johnny Herrera, Fred Mattox, Jake Martens; plus a strong contingent of ASCS 'invaders' from the Gulf South and possibly National Series, as they are both scheduled off that night.

As with past events, LSS has prepared an excellent competitor purse for the ASCS Sprint Car teams: $3,000 - 1,500 - 1,000 - 700 - 600 - 500 - 400 - 380 - 360 - 340 - 320 - 300...start. Any non-starters or non-qualifiers will each receive $100.

And for the first time ever, Non-Winged Sprint Cars will take on the LSS high banks!

The Elite Non-Wing Sprint Car Series will host their final event of 2015 at LSS on October 10th. Elite Series drivers such as John Ricketts, Johnny Miller, Thomas Johnson, Dustin Gates, Sebie Davis, Robert Vetter, Jeff Day, Michael Day, Steven Elliott, Chris Clark, Michelle Melton, Jeff Day Jr., Charlie McDonald, David Burke, Justin Melton, Carl Large, David Garland, Mitchell Clement, Ryan Hall, Cody Robbins, Josh McCord, Richard Miller, Justin Fifield and Dalton Stevens are possible, as well as several other non-winged drivers from throughout the region. Elite teams will be racing for a solid purse of: $800 - 500 - 400 - 350 - 300 - 250...to start. Any non-starters or non-qualifiers in the feature will receive $200.

But that's just half of the action at LSS on October 10th!

It is also the Texas State Championship for the Factory Stocks and the Limited Modifieds!

Each division will be racing for $1,000 to win and $100 to start. Here's the complete breakdown for each division: $1,000 - 500 - 400 - 300 - 260 - 220 - 200 - 180 - 160 - 140 - 120 - 100...to start. Non-starters and non-qualifiers in the Limited Modifieds will each receive $30, while Factory Stock non-starters and non-qualifiers will collect $20.

Additionally, there are no LSS entry fees or track fees due from any of the four racing divisions...just your pit pass gets you in!

Besides the jumbo payday in each of the Texas State Championship divisions, beautiful, custom and Texas-sized trophies will be presented to each winner (see below).

JUST ADDED! The Palm Harbor Homes track display and corporate staff will be on hand to give out PRIZES to the LoneStar fans while they're checking out their industry-leading product lineup.

Palm Harbor is the proud sponsor of ASCS Sprint driver Michael 'Spike' Lang. Spike will be racing at LoneStar in the ASCS division on October 10th. Click http://www.palmharbor.com/racing/ and http://www.lang14.com/ to learn more about Palm Harbor Homes and Michael Lang's team website.

And the best part for the race fans: you can take in all of this action for just $17! Many tracks charge a lot more for an event of this caliber, and we are pleased to offer it at that price to the great LSS fans. Kids ages 6-11 can take in the night of fun for just $5. Seniors and Active Military are $15. All pit passes for all ages are $35.

A complete event flyer and payback by division for the Saturday October 10th event is posted under the ‘resources’ section of the track website.
