NCRA Sprints Back in Action This Saturday Night!
Park City, Kansas – August 31, 2015 - Current series point leader C.J. Johnson will lead the National Championship Racing Association of Park City, Kansas presented by Precise Racing Products sprint car division back into race action this coming Saturday night, September 5, at 81 Speedway in Park City.
Johnson has one feature victory on the 2015 race season and has an astounding seven straight top-five finishes to hold a 120 point lead over former tour champion Jeremy Campbell. Jon Freeman currently sits third in the final point standings, followed by Jeff Stasa and Raymond Seeman. Hutchinson Grand Nationals champion J.D. Johnson currently sits sixth in the standings, followed by Jake Grieder, Jack Dover, Josh Fairbank and Luke Cranston.
As with all regularly scheduled series sprint car events, the winner will take home $2000 to win and $300 just to start the twenty care feature finale.
Eight events have been completed thus far on the 2015 race season with Tony Bruce, Jr. having won two events. Other feature winners include Jack Dover (2), afore mentioned J.D. and C.J. Johnson, Campbell and Danny Lasoski.
Also running will be the series other four sanctioned divisions; Modified, NeSmith late models and mod lites.
Gates open at 5:00 PM with race action slated for a 7:00 PM start time. Admission is $15 for adults and $5 for kids while all pit passes are just $30.
81 Speedway is located north of Wichita on I-135 to exit 16, then 0.7 miles west.
