25 to 30 feet maybe! Can`t tell on video, but it drops off pretty good over the wall down the bank!

I put the camera down and came up out of the infield to use that porta john.  Was in there a few minutes before this happened and decided to sit up in the pit bleachers just out of the frame to the left.  Looking out across the track, heard a collective gasp, turned to my left and saw the #199 in mid air and seen the dust fly when he hit.  He was out of the car and in the stands watching the Traditional Feature after they checked him out.  I decided I had enough photos and ran down and got the camera bag and folding chair and put them in the van.  After the Traditional Feature getting up at 3:30am hit me so I headed five minutes up the road to the lake home and called it a night.  wink

PS, I'm not sure why they haven't put up the new catch fence over on that end of the track.  They lucked out this time but I think it might not be a bad idea to get that done.
