Thinking about going over to Indiana Thurs-Sat for the Kokomo Smackdown. I've never been there. Is this a good show? Separate show each night? In short, worth the trip? Thanks!

Yes, you won't be disappointed. Seperate show each night and then they tally the points for the finale on Saturday.

Lawnmower races at Kokomo would be good. Kokomo is the best RACE track in the country. You won't be disappointed.

It rained like hell last year (my first time) but they still pulled off the Finale on Sunday. I thoroughly enjoyed it, going back Wednesday thru Saturday. Free USAC makeup race Wednesday. Weather report looks good!

Kokomo's insane, Be aware that advanced tickets were sold so you might not get the seats you want.

Thanks Chuck and other responders. I did see where advanced tickets were being sold. Any pit-side seating if they sell-out before I get there on Thursday?

Kokomo is awesome. I've seen 3 shows there and they are without question my 3 favorite non-winged shows including the one this Memorial Day. Amazing battle between Clauson and KT.

Never been to the smackdown but every other race that i have seen at kokomo has been great. i don't know how you could go wrong. go dave darland!

Yes, its a great show , great track , great people , call the office and get tickets , call the Comfort Inn at Kokomo and get a room if any left at the track 15% discount to fans its close by and its in a good location , if I can be of further contact me at
[email protected] . Its too bad these people don't share there track conditioning info on to other tracks , only if more tracks would share info the racing would be great everywhere. Oh also get there early for a parking space they are at a premium or hard to find some good ones .

If I had the choice of seeing five WoO or all star shows or ONE WEEKLY NW sprint show at kokomo.
I'd take Kokomo. I haven't seen Smack down, They do a hot dog qualifying thing for the pole saturday. Two cars, Two laps. I think its top six or something and winner gets the pole.
I have seen three Klash's, Two vince osmans. Two sprint weeks and a Hewitt classic back when it was sprints and midgets.
One of the Osmans. Tmez won from the very tail in Hazens car.
