FIRST ASCS EVENT IN THE REGION at RRS FRIDAY APRIL 3!

Wichita Falls, TX (3/23/15) by
DarinShort.com. Red River Speedway (RRS) near Wichita Falls, Texas is pleased to announce the first ever ASCS Red River Region event is coming to RRS on Friday April 3rd.

Last year's ASCS event at RRS was a Sooner vs Lone Star region event, however those two regions have been combined in 2015, forming the Red River Region...so what better place to host the event than at a speedway named the same!

This huge event is what fans have been waiting for, and this is the only scheduled ASCS race in the country on April 3rd, so a great field of Sprint Cars can be expected.

ASCS Sprint Car drivers such as Alex Sewell, Dustin Morgan, Harli White, Jake Martens, John Carney II, John Kelly, Jordan Weaver, Josh Baughman, Kevin Ramey, Kris Miller, Kyle Chady, Martin Edwards, Michael Lang, Mike Goodman, Patrick Stasa, Sean McClelland, Shawn Petersen - plus a host of others will be at RRS on April 3rd.

Joining the ASCS Sprint Cars will be a complete program for the USRA Modifieds (paying $800/win) and IMCA Southern SportMods (paying $500 to win). The Pro Stocks and Mini Stocks will round out the 5-division racing card and each will be racing for $400 to win. Click
http://www.RRSpeedway.com for complete purse breakdown and rules are posted under the 'driver' tab.

Adult tickets are just $15 (ages 12-64), while Kids 11 and under are free with adult admission. Seniors 65+/Active Military can enjoy the racing program for just $12. All pit passes for all ages are $35.

Here are the specifics for the Friday, April 3rd racing program at Red River Speedway:

-Pits open by 5pm, Grandstands open at 6pm, and racing starts at 8pm

-General Admission just $15 (ages 12 to 64; tickets available on race night only)

-Kids ages 11 and under are free with adult admission

-Active Military and Seniors (Ages 65+): $12

-All Pit Passes, all ages are $35

-No outside food, drinks and/or coolers allowed through ticket gates; a full selection of economically priced food concessions, including beer, are available.

-Click
http://www.RRSpeedway.com or the track Facebook page http://www.Facebook.com/RedRiverSpeedway for complete event details, flyer, purse structure, rules, directions and much more.

-Visit
http://www.ASCSracing.com for rules and more information on the series.

Join us on Friday, April 3rd when the high powered ASCS Sprint Cars return to Red River Speedway - Let's Kick a Little Dirt!

Far too many classes to run when a large number of headliner sprint cars are expected.  I support class is all that is necessary, but in no circumstances should there be more than two.  And a discount for seniors and none for a 12 year old?  How about a family package?

Totaly agree! Way too many classes, and way too much $ for a 12yr old!

A couple of notes on the subject. This is not a $1200 or $1500 to win regional race. It's $2000/win. And several other area tracks charge $20 for this same exact race ticket - and RRS is $5 less than that.

The sprint car feature is planned for the 2nd feature out, so fans just coming to see the sprint cars can still leave at an early hour. The RRS drivers in the other divisions all want to race that night, so they're getting their chance...plus they're all racing for really big purses, so the track is paying out well over $25,000 on this night...again, for a $15 race ticket is very, very much a good deal for race fans.

I can't see how you justify 12yr full admision price. Mabe RRS idea is to keep kids out, or just gouge while the gouging is good.

Most tracks in this region have age breakdowns exactly the same as this, or with slight variations. Most charge $5 for ages 6-11...this race does not.
