I already started on thread on making my first trip to the Royal.  If I hung around the neighborhood, I could stick around for the Mud summer Classic on the following Wednesday.  Anyone out there hit that race either of the last two years?  I loved watching it on TV.  Is it as entertaining at the track as it looks?  Thanks

WoO Sprint Cars turn low 13 second laps around Eldora.

Nascar trucks turn high 19 second laps at Eldora.

Eldora push trucks turn (25 second laps) ?? at Eldora.

I wouldn't a waste of dollar on Nascar

I flew there for the first MSC. It was like watching a Hobby Stock race with nascar drivers. I think the hobby stock's accually go faster. The track is extra slow/super dry and it is packed for a dirttrack. If you like waiting in lines, it's the race for you. Parking, Entry, Food, Bathroom, Beer and leaving after the race lines. Don't get me wrong I had fun at my first trip to Eldora, but I will go back only for the Kings Royal not the Mud Summer Classic.

You're not going to find very man peeps on Hoseheads talking well about NASCAR... and I am a huge sprint car fan, goint to a ton of wing and non wing shows every year.  Yes, the trucks are slower and yes there's a huge crowd there.  But, there's a huge crowd there!  It's an event!  We had a lot of fun and the feature race has been really pretty entertaining, especially last year with Kyle Larson beating the wall down

I went the first year of the truck race and enjoyed it very much.  I have been to 2 Kings Royals and liked them better, but the truck race was very good and I had a lot of fun.
