I bought the Saturday package. I was very disappointed as it buffered constantly all day . We went to another location and tried it there and samething happened. It was unwatchable. Anyone else have this happen?

It's funny there was a thread a couple weeks ago about pricing and in that thread I said I cut back to basically not buying any of them anymore because of the high price. I tried it this time and I'm now convinced to not do it anymore. I should have stuck with my prior thoughts.

I bought the package for the week.

Tuesday-Friday was literally perfect.

Saturday, I drove 70 miles to my daughters house to spend the day there, and watch the Mav TV program that night, since I dont have access to mav.

I brought my computer with, and logged on about noonish.  It buffered pretty badly for me, but I didnt know if it was on my daughters end, or RBs end.  I shut it off, and didnt worry about it the rest of the day.

Thanks  RB.

Yup , that was obvious that MavTV was perfect . We did watch that. I was asking the people that bought the RacinBoys internet coverage on Saturday for the prelims. We tried two different internet services and 3 computers and it was terrible for us. Unwatchable. I was trying to find outif it was  just our area that had problems.

tenter, sorry if you had problems with our broadcasts, I know for sure very few did! We had less then 1% of our total users complain! Hope you'll give us another chance in the future, but understand if you don't.

Do you send out a survey to all subscribers after the event to get consensus or is this a statement based on actual emails that complained divided by the # of people that paid. I asked because I think alot of people would not take the time to complain basically for the same reason I wouldn't, its not worth my time and in the end nothing will come of it in the way of a refund or anything anyways. Basically you would get told sorry it worked bad, no one else is complaining.

I'm not trying to argue, just asking. I didn't rent it so I don't have a complaint. I did rent the Turkey night midget race (not sure if it was a racin boys event or not) but it was pretty bad, I missed most all the heats, luckily it came around at feature time and I saw that pretty much without interruption, but like I said, not worth complaining, I just moved on but had I gotten a survey I would have let them know of my experience. Just a thought

I also bought the week feed.  Tuesday's feed was terrible.  What could go wrong with the feed did.  I saw Racinboys comments on Hoseheads forun Tuesday concerning their internet feed.  They must of gotten an ear full from other customers about Tuesday's feed to post comments on Hoseheads so early the next morning.  I did what they suggested and that was to reboot the router and computer, which I did.  Wednesday, Thursday and Fridays feed was near perfect.  It was late Saturday afternoon when I ran into problems with the feed, which required refreshing the page a number of times.  This is the first time I ever paid for an internet program, but all in all I would do the Chili Bowl internet feed again.

I watched Tuesday and it was an awesome feed. It buffered twice during the broadcast and one other time I had to refresh when it locked up for a little bit. Still that was very easy to deal with and the multi camera feed was excellent! No complaints. I also watched another day and it was perfect too.

Cheers!

We refunded almost everyone that said they had problems, that number was very low for this size of PPV broadcasts. Our refund policy is different then most PPV providers. We'll put our tech support and customer service up against anyone! And no we didn't get many complaints about our stream on Tuesday...because we didn't have any tech problems. Our stream / encoder didn't drop once all week. Buffering can happen for a lot of reason, sometimes they can't be explained, they just happen.

Thanks again to everyone that spent their hard earned money on our broadcasts!
