Texas Motorsport Expo & Longhorn Shootout: Two Great Events Nov. 28-29!

Mesquite, TX (10/25/14) by DarinShort.com. Last year the Texas Motorsport Expo and Longhorn Shootout teamed up for the first time within the same property complex, and will do so again November 28th-29th at the Mesquite Arena & Mesquite Convention Center in Mesquite Texas.

This all-indoor event combines the Texas Motorsport Expo and Auction (featuring nearly 100 exhibitor displays ranging from Dirt Track, to Street, Off Road, Drag Racing, ATV’s, Show Cars & much more) with the Longhorn Shootout (featuring many of the top Winged/Non-Winged 600 Sprint and Kart drivers from throughout the region; nearly 300 teams competed in the 2013 event).

The location of this powerhouse weekend of racing and bargains is at the Mesquite Convention Center and Mesquite Arena – which are both located just steps from one other on the same property.

Direct links to each event website are located at:

Texas Motorsport Expo: http://www.TexasMotorsportExpo.com/

Longhorn Shootout: http://www.LonghornShootout.com/

For an aerial view of complex, including parking info, click: http://www.darinshort.com/expo.html

While supplies last, there is a Hampton Inn located on premises, offering affordable and convenient lodging. Just park your car or trailer upon your arrival, and you’re all set for a weekend of fun and action! The direct link for the promo rate is at the property map link above.

It is also important that race teams and vendors use the appropriate entrance to the property, so trailers do not get backed up on the entrance road. Race teams and vendors should use Neal Gay Drive to enter the property (the street just past the Hampton Inn). Details are shown on the property map link above.

The event location is very easy to get in and out of and is located at 1700 Rodeo Dr, Mesquite, Texas 75149. From I-635 (either direction), you will take the Hwy 352 (Military Parkway/Scyene Road), Exit #4. And you will see the complex on the Southwest corner of that intersection on Rodeo Center Blvd, which is parallel to I-635.

Race trailers, vendors and auction consignees need to continue past the Hampton Inn entrance on Rodeo Center Blvd and take the Neal Gay Drive street entrance to access all points from there. If you are a race fan or Expo attendee, please reference the property map for a variety of spectator parking options.

Driver registration and vendor display registration is now open. Race teams can visit http://www.LonghornShootout.com for event website and registration, while Expo vendors can click http://www.TexasMotorsportExpo.com to get all set up in a jiffy.

If you are planning on selling racing components in the Expo Auction, numbers are limited, and are currently being assigned. So get yours reserved before they're all gone! Contact Kevin Rogers or Tim Clonch today at 972-289-7223 to get yours!

The Racelogic Chassis School is also taking place in conjunction with the Expo weekend on November 28th and 29th. The popular 2-day class is currently taking registrations. Please contact Brian Littleton at 479 461-7561 or send a email to [email protected] for a registration form .
