I have been listening to the show weekly. Sometimes it's bad , most of the time it's good. One issue that just burns me up is when you get to talking about tire rules. The tire rules help many more teams than they hurt. The teams that it helps are the teams that are really needed, the middle funded teams. If the tire rules would go away , the larger funded teams would ge back on tire deals , they would have many tires in their trailers in different rubbers , compounds , and sizes at their disposal. The middle funded teams would still only be buying their normal one or two tires a week just to keep up. Once again , the larger funded teams would stretch their advantage over these teams. The price would go up for the middle funded teams to help pay for the "free" tires that are given to the higher funded guys.

 I help with a middle funded team and with the tire rule we have now , we don't mind buying new tires because we now can run the same thing the higher funded teams run and at the same cost. Why would YOU want to see us buy new tires at an inflated price, and still not have the latest ,greatest tire out there like the teams on tire deals? Those latest, greatest tires are only available to the select few. I don't know how long you have been around the sport but that is the way it was in the years of no tire rules. I know you only do your shows and articles about the higher funded teams , you need to broaden your spectrum and get the other side once in awhile.

The reason I didn't mention the low dollar teams is because they will do whatever is needed for them to race. They will buy used tires to race. Most likely , they will buy used tires at the best price they can get. Most likely those tires will be the "free" tires the guys on tire deals have because they get them free already , so it's just more money to the higher funded teams and more money out of the middle funded teams kitty.

The list of high-dollar teams n Pennsylvania is minimal, like three, maybe four. So most of the people I talk to are middle-funded or low-funded teams. And most of them say the same thing: They don't like tire rules.

First off, the tires are sub-standard. Just like earlier this year, a lot of teams, most teams, including those with the World of Outlaws, got a batch from last year. They performed poorly. Second, if you have one company, you have to accept what they put out. There is no incentive to improve the product. That is standard business when you have a monopoly, which is supposed to be illegal.

I've been around the sport for 30-plus years. Sprint Car racing since 1985. In that time, you have had more teams leave the sport since 2000 than any other time since I've been a fan/reporter. I think I have counted 26-30 since the 2000 season in central Pennsylvania alone. More have decreased their status to part time. In that time, tire bills have increased for many teams, low, middle and high-dollar organizations.

If you think teams don't still have tire deals you're fooling yourself.

He made a counter aurgument based on personal observation and conversations. He never attacked you or your opinion. Hate to say it, but it seems like you are the one who thinks you know it all (to quote you, "I tried to bring some TRUE light on the subject").
