Red River Speedway MILITARY NIGHT, Friday August 29th
Wichita Falls, TX (8/19/14) by DarinShort.com. The new Red River Speedway (RRS) near Wichita Falls, TX is pleased to announce 'Military Night' is going to be held on Friday, August 29th. On this special night RRS is allowing all active and retired U.S. Military members free grandstand admission by simply presenting their military ID at the ticket gate.
A complete night of racing is on tap for Friday, August 29th, including Champ Sprints and Modifieds (each paying $1,000 to win), $750 to win Limited Modifieds; plus Pro Stocks and Mod 4's. The first green flag drops at 8pm.
The Limited Modified bonus is still in effect for this event, with the winner taking home $750. 2nd place will receive $450, and the 3rd place finisher will collect $300. The remainder of the Limited Modified purse is as posted for regular events.
Adult tickets for Military Night are just $12 (ages 12-64), while Kids are $5 (ages 6-11), ages 5 and under are free (with adult admission), and Seniors $8. Again, active or retired U.S. Military members just need to present their military ID at the ticket gate to receive their free grandstand admission ticket to this event. All pit passes are $30.

Here are the specifics for the Friday, August 29th racing program at Red River Speedway:
-Pits open at 5pm, Grandstands open at 6pm, Draw Cut off & Drivers Meeting at 7pm sharp, Track Packing at 7:15pm, Hot Laps at 7:30pm, Opening Ceremonies at 7:55pm, and racing starts at 8pm
-General Admission just $12 (ages 12 to 64)
-Kids (ages 6-11) just $5
-Ages 5 and under admitted free with Adult admission
-Seniors (Ages 65+): $8
-Military (active or retired): this event only FREE with military ID
-All Pit Passes $30
-No outside food, drinks and/or coolers allowed through ticket gates; a full selection of economically priced food concessions, including beer, are available.
