I feel very excited that Casey's General Stores Midwest Fall Brawl III Lap Sponsorship filled up as quickly as it did and I cant thank each and every one of you enough as without ALL of you this wouldn’t have happened. We ended up with $5500 in lap sponsor money and since it ended up being $100 per lap, we are going to break it down to pay as follows:

Lap Leader $50 per lap

2nd place $30 per lap

3rd place $20 per lap

Also, in hustling eveyone, Leon Zeitner of Zeitner & Sons Trucking did not want to participate in the lap sponsorship but did want to participate in the event. Zeitner & Sons Trucking is going to give $100 to the first car out of the A-feature, I thought that was a great idea and that throws even more money into the great event we got going. So now we have the following:

Durst Motorplex/Hotrod Paintless Dent Repair "Double Down, Back to Back Challenge" for $50,000

Searsboro Telephone "Hard Charger Award" $1000 each night

Electrical Systems "Podium Draw" $300 each night

DeBerg Concrete "Fastest Lap Award" $250 each night

Zeitner & Sons Trucking "First Car Out of The A-Feature Hard Luck Award" $100 each night

Plus the $5500 in lap money over the two nights

?

Great money for a great event at I-80 Speedway in Greenwood, NE! Thank you to each and every one of you that are making this show a Premier Event.

Now go get your two day pass at the National Sprint Car Hall of Fame & Museum for $35 and lets PACK THE HOUSE!

With Knoxville points and most other tracks points are done, we should see a great car count!

Well for sure all the ASCS National guys Smile   I would hope all the Carpetland Nebraska 360s and I am sure we will pull quite a few Knoxville cars.

I'm sure a good share of the Carpetland Nebraska 360's will be there since it is within there normal playground!

The Bobby Parker Memorial is Aug 31st That will give everyone another chance to tune in to I-80

When it gets a little closer to the date, I'll be outing out a list of drivers that will be there.  This will be a great show.

Some driver could leave I-80 with around $65,000 if things go right for them. That is alot of money.

Can Jack Dover repeat and take home a $50,000 bonus or will some one else leave I-80 Speedway with a huge pile of cash? Only 53 days and we will find out the answer.

FYI..... I-80 Speedway is selling camping spots on the back stretch for $250 that includes (2) pit passes for all (3) days. Notice I said (3) days....I-80 Speedway will have some support classes running on Thursday, September 18th and also, any one that would like to practice including 360 sprintcars. Make note, these spots do not have any power or water, but with it being late September, hopefully you wont need much if any air conditioning. You can run generators if you so desire to. The great thing about the back stretch camping spots is you get to bring in your own drinks and cook up your own food and you can sit in a lawn chair to enjoy the races or the bleachers the track has situated back there.  If you are interested in a back strech camping spot, call Lee Ackerman of I-80 Speedway at 402-342-3453
