It's official. The races are ON at the Cedar Lake Speedway this Saturday May 3. Pits open at 3:00, grandstands at 5:00 with racing starting at 6:00 PM. This will be the season opener for the UMSS winged sprints. We should be hotlapping a...round 5:30-5:45 range. The weathering is improving, and we are expecting partly cloudy skies on Saturday with a high near 60. Come on out and enjoy the thrills and excitement of dirt track racing featuring the winged warriors of the UMSS.

Thanks to some sponsorship help from GRP Motorsports, the UMSS feature will pay $1,000 to win, 2nd will be $750 and third $500. The sprints will hot lap, run heats, challenges and a 25 lap feature to kick off the 2014 UMSS season. Also on the program will be the NASCAR Late Models, Modifieds, Pro Stocks and the Hornets.
