Allstars definitely have a shot. No more Fast Freddy , Hodnett & DewEase not up to par,  some new Allstars

Not predicting a win, but would not shock me either

All Star Circuit of Champions winning on Central PA turf: Not this time

I am so sick of the chest-pounding from the PA guys about how you just dominate the All Stars.

When your big, bad "Posse" guys come out on the road and run with the All Stars at places like Eldora, and beat them there, then pound your mighty chestsTo sit there year after year and declare how big and bad you are because you beat a traveling group that runs your HOME track once or twice a year, while you run them every week, is laughable. You SHOULD beat them every time.

No other group of fans does this like you PA guys do (and I'm from PA), not the California fans, Knoxville fans, etc - nobody.

So we certainly can expect all the PA Posse teams to come out here to Ohio and run the Ohio Speedweek races this year, right?  Oh wait, you guys schedule your Speedweek against the All Stars.

I personally hope one of the All Star guys like Blaney or Shaffer hammer you guys.

No chest pounding here. I don't play favorites. I write and give my opinion on what I see. I'm just hoping the All Stars bring more than five cars. Spent years listening to Guy Webb claim guys like Dewease, Hodnett and others just because they have a card.

As for the Pennsylvania guys traveling out of the area to beat the All Stars, that isn't the point. It's about this weekend and the two races thta are taking place.

I don't see it at the Grove, tough track that even the Outlaws are batting below .500 at since 2009 (though 10 of 15 since the streak ended).

I think it's even money at Port, depending of course on qualifying. Blaney won last week, won the Tuscarora opener (last yr?) and the All Stars have run top 5 alot there recently.

"No chest pounding here" ....ya, right.  BS.  You write "That leaves the All Star brigade running for second or worse. And taking another trip back to Ohio with battered and bruised egos again".

Then you say "As for the Pennsylvania guys traveling out of the area to beat the All Stars, that isn't the point......." It is the point when you are proclaiming how big and bad your PA guys are, yet are afraid to run with the All Stars (or the Outlaws) elsewhere.  Man, I hope Blaney, Kemenah, Shaffer and co put one on you.  Personally I wish the All Stars would dump the PA dates and stay and run more races in Ohio, or run places like Lawrenceburg, IN. more than they do now.

Also, really looking forward to see all the Pennsylvania Posse teams at Eldora for the May 3rd and 4th Outlaw races (at which the top All Star teams will run as well) - surely they'll be there, right?

Wow, I'm liking larsonfan's passion. But really, I'm not a Posse guy. I have no problem when the World of Outlaws come in and sweep, which is something I think they will do this year. Did you see the stat...1-54. That is pretty bad, so why is this year so different?

Don't confuse opinion with chest pumping. As for traveling out to Eldora, it's a shame that the Pennsylvania contingent doesn't support races like the Kings Royal and Knoxville. I really don't understand it. I'm all for "all hands on deck" when it comes to the big races. Makes it better for fans.

I also hope the All Stars do bring a ton of cars. I hope is a great race, and I have no problem if an ASCoC regular sits in Victory Lane.

Why you mad, bro? LOL Don't even care about the Posse, but it's hilarious to see a Larson fan get his panties all wadded up. Rant on. The entertainment value is priceless.

He *gasp* writes for a Central PA newspaper, and his article panders to its intended audience?

WHAT A SHOCK!

Good lord, man, it's his job to pander.

Again, not pandering. I don't have to appease the PA audience. It's the experience of watching a group go 1-for-54 in this area. Those are good odds to stand behind.

I agree with your statement that you don't pander or appease the PA audience.

For example, in this article posted the other day (http://www.pennlive.com/sports/index.ssf/2014/04/world_of_outlaws_next_rivalry.html) you snuck this in at the end of the Knoxville recap - "Stay tuned, as this is the best weekly program in the country."

To be honest, I'm quite surprised no one brought it up yet and I'm quite surprised it didn't encite the Central PA readers of your paper.

Keep up the good work on the articles - great stuff.

Will you stand behind those odds (54:1) if I send you $5 for a non PA regular for the win?

I dont know what the hell youre talking about by saying Hodnett is subpar.  He is having a pretty good start to the season if you ask me, +29 at Port Royal, and damn good runs at the Grove.

I'll take the odds for the All-Stars beating the Posse at Port. Kemenah, Holtgraver, Shaffer, Blaney, Haud vs Hodnett, Heimbach, Lafferty, Barger, Wagner, Esh etc. Good deal for the Posse is Dietrich and Marks are headed to the big half mile as well.

I'm really not sure how you are so confident the locals win Saturday. But I hope you're right.

0 for 28? All Star Circuit of Chumpions fares even worse than the World of Also Rans in PA.
