4/22/14  Pontoon Beach, IL – 2014 has been good to Brady Bacon, and it’s only April. In his 17th start of the season, counting midgets, non-wing sprints and winged 410s, Brady can count 4 wins with the latest coming this past Friday night with the MOWA sprint series at Tri-City Raceway in Pontoon Beach, IL. For Bacon, it was his first career winged 410 win.

With nearly 100 nights of racing on his 2014 agenda, Bacon has set himself up to rack up wins in nearly every corner of the continent in multiple classifications of cars. On Friday night, it was the Brady Bacon Racing #99 XXX chassis taking to the 3/8 mile clay of Tri-City Raceway. After running 6th to 3rd in his heat race, Brady narrowly missed the dash and settled for a 7th place starting spot in the main event. At the drop of the green, it was clear that the Fatheadz Eyewear, PPM #99 was lightning fast, as Brady deftly maneuvered through the field into second place. When the leader encountered engine trouble on lap 14, Brady was there to capitalize, jumping to the lead and stretching his advantage over the rest of the field to an insurmountable size. At the conclusion of lap 30, Bacon crossed under the checkered flag having lapped all but the top seven cars in taking his first winged 410 win.

On the season, Brady has now won a USAC National Tour race (Non-Wing 410), MOWA race (Winged 410), USAC SW Tour (Non-Wing 360) and ASCS 305 Series (Winged 305) events. Two of the wins came in his BBR #99, while the other two came for famed car owners Hoffman Auto Racing and one of the premier car owners in Texas, Casey Minks.

“The support from my wife and family, along with all the sponsors who back me, makes all the difference in the world. We started the season on a really good note in Arizona and Florida, and it seems like momentum is firmly behind us moving this season” said Brady.

Brady Bacon Racing is sponsored by Fatheadz Eyewear, Oilfield Equipment & Manufacturing, Tel-Star Communications, PPM, Triple X Race Components, Keizer Aluminum Wheels and many more.
