What if any difference is there between a plain 1 7/8 header and the new 4-2-1 headers? Does anybody have any actual horsepower and torque numbers for an ASCS 360 ?

FYI the 4/2/ 1 header deal is to help smooth out the engines torque & h p curve from what Ive seen it seems to make the the car easier to drive > fyi check out the various header man. web sights one that is really good is Stahl Headers hope this helps

In the 80's I raced a four cylinder sprint sized car with a Toyota 4 cylinder 150 ci. Tried both 4-2-1 and 4-1 headers. The 4-1 headers had noticeably more power. If you take away some power from your 360 Sprint it will be easier to drive, but maybe not faster. The last 14 years I've been racing a 360 NCRA Sprint. Don't think less power is the answer unless the track is really, really dry slick.
