UMSS Preseason Tech Session April 9 at Mastell Brothers Trailer Service

By: Greg Parent, UMSS Media Director (3-28-11)

As the 2011 racing season approaches, the Upper Midwest Sprint Car Series (UMSS) has scheduled a preseason tech session for those UMSS drivers and car owners who are interested in having their cars teched ahead of time. The UMSS Preseason Tech Session will be held at Mastell Brothers Trailer Service located at 14636 Lake Drive NE, Forest Lake, Minnesota on Saturday, April 9 from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Mastell Brothers Trailer Service was the site of the popular UMSS Chassis Seminar held back in January. Cars in all three UMSS divisions are welcome and encouraged to attend this session.

For those who take part in the preseason tech session, a random drawing will be held for some free front wing brackets courtesy of n1Performance & Design located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. "This will be a great opportunity for drivers to have their cars teched prior to the first race night by the new UMSS Head Tech Official, Terry Galle, with assistance from UMSS Technical Director Joe Kouba," stated series CDO Ron Bernhagen. Please contact Joe Kouba at 612-751-4646 or Ron Bernhagen at 612-363-5302, so they can get an idea of how many cars are planning to be on hand April 9.

Mastell Brothers Trailer Service is a proud sponsor of the UMSS and has been serving the trucking industry since 1988 with an emphasis on open top conversions, roller bed floors, and walking floors. They have a 20-bay Service Shop with frame bay, mobile service trucks, and parts for all makes and models. New and used trailers are in stock with product lines being added when available. Please visit their website at www.mastellbrothers.com to view current inventory, check available services, or to obtain driving directions to their shop.

How about an '89 Merc? It's probably older than some of the drivers but it's still getting me to the races. wink

Push trucks and 89 Mercs are legal as is. Now for beer, Mike is going to have to make sure it is the right brand, as illegal cans will be banned. j/k
