Stan,

The boys at Delphi made changes that won't let me log-in over there.......What's the protocol for "Sarcasm Alert!" over here?

Ha, ha...I'll bet they banned you over on the 40 for being a wise guy!!! wink

Welcome to the MDTR board Dennis. There's a lot of wingnuts over here (and a few non-wing nuts) and they use this board mostly to sell equipment and make announcements. We're not as exciting of a crowd as they are on the 40 but we stir things up a little once in a while.

Stan & Steiny,

They made some sign-in changes that won't even let me send e-mails to their member services site....I wish I could say they kicked me off but I know it's a problem with Explorer and old stored info that brings up the "start" page from over ten years ago.......

I'm sure I'll evetually get to post again but in the meantime I'm visiting. The pent-up sarcasm is getting so bad I am having withdrawals.

I'll try to be nice...

Dennis

Try clearing your cache memory and you'll get rid of that old stuff. Delete only files, not the passwords and cookies.

Hi Dennis. You are right, Delphi made some recent changes over on the 40. I was able to sign-in, but it kept showing I was a basic member instead of a Plus member. I contacted Delphi and they replied back very quickly. They told me to simply delete my current sign-in from my Favorites and clear the Temp Internet Files folder. I then revisted the Delphi main forum page, clicked on the link to the 20/20 forum which brought up a new sign-in page. I saved that new page in my favorites, and everything has worked perfect since then. I did not have to delete any passwords, and if any cookies got deleted it was no big deal because the website would just reload them anyways. You will keep your same sign-in name and yes, you probably will have to retype your password on the new Delphi sign-in screen the first time.

I dump Temp Files daily & my Cookies weekly. Really seems to help the speed of my antique P.O.S. computer. Doesn't help my crappy spelling though!

Success!

Thanks for the tips everyone. Our I. T. guy at work told me to check if I had two versions of Explorer on my 'puter. Guess what? I did: 32 bit and 64 bit.... Once I checked it only took me 5 minutes to fix that problem. Quicker than you can say "3-link mid-west modified"........

I see there will be 5 sprint shows at CLS. That's great news for us sprint car fans.

Could anyone tell me what the specs are for the MSS motor and what existing class motor they are closest to?

Dennis

Glad to hear that you got the 20/20 problem taken care of Dennis.

Here's the link to the UMSS non-winged engine/car rules.

http://www.umsprints.com/downloads/get.aspx?i=9403

The engine package is similar to the midwest mod or super stock motors with some modifications necessary to run on methanol.
