ALEXANDER, Ark. -- The Day Motor Sport AMP State Series presented by American Racer set to host a double header in Central, Arkansas, April 13 & April 14.

The AMP Super Late Model Series is set for their second and third event of the 2007 season.

AMP Super Late Model Series started up tour March 10th at Crawford County Speedway with the winner Will Vaught from Seneca Mo, taking home the inaugural season opener.

The second leg of the AMP series is set to invade Beebe Speedway Friday night April 13th then move to Little Rock, Arkansas I-30 Speedway Saturday night April 14th.

The new AMP State Series Title Sponsor Days Motor Sports will be on hand to witness history being made in the State of Arkansas.

The AMP Super Late Model Series is set to roll into Beebe Speedway April 13th. This race will set the second night of racing for the AMP Late Model Series. Teams from Arkansas and surrounding States will battle it out for the 20 starting positions.

At any time during 2007 expect to witness members of the AMP series from all areas around the State: Gary Scott Christian, Clay Fisher,, Mark Shaw, Kyle Beard, Keith Craft, Larry Potter, Dewaine Hottinger, Jon Kirby, Dennis Adams, Shawn Bleese, Joe Long, Terry Henson, Charlie Cole, Justin Brawner, Jeff Moss, Jerome Roberson, Bobby Carr, Derek Carr, Robert Lovette, Blake Burns, James Crocker, Jon Mitchell, Jeff Glisson, Chris Hawkins, Billy Moyer Jr, Andy Hockenhull, Dave Dunn, Stormy Derryberry, Phillip Herndon, Shane Diamant.

This will be the first time late models have been on Beebe Speedway grounds racing in more then a decade.

On the race card with the AMP State Series, Beebe Speedway Mini Stock Shoot out, Mini Sprints, Emods, Modifieds, Hobby Stocks. Racers want to be sure to be on hand early for parking.

Beebe Speedway will provide the total purse of $8650.00 for the main event with the winner taking home $1500.00. Starters of the 30 lap feature receive $200.00. Non qualifiers will receive $37.50. AMP Series will be brought to you in part with Becky Bolding of Buddy York Bail Bonds.

The AMP drivers will take their American Racer tires off the gumbo of Beebe and onto the clay of Historical I-30 Speedway on the following night, with another night of racing action. AMP will be brought to you in part with event sponsor, Ken Wagner of Momar Chemicals of Conway Arkansas. Momar Chemicals will provide "The Official Hand Sanitizer" of the AMP Series and 1st - 3rd place trophies.

I-30 Speedway will provide the total purse of $8650.00 for the main event with the winner taking home $1500.00. Starters of the 30 lap feature receive $200.00, Non qualifiers will receive $37.50.

On the race card with the AMP State Series is the Sprints, IMCA Modified, Super Stocks.

The racing will be close on the two quarter-mile tracks, providing exciting racing action from the heat races through the 30-lap feature event each night. Racing at Beebe Speedway begins at 8 pm, and action at I-30 will begin at 7:30 pm on Saturday.

Team GRT will provide the pole setter certificate award for the sum of $100.00 to the racer who starts on the pole for the main event.

Larry Shaw Racing will provide the hard charge certificate award for the sum of $100.00 to the racer who advances the most during the evening.

AMP Series has had phenomenal growth since the series first started forming in Arkansas the end of October of 2006. Series office has been receiving calls about the new AMP Series from many racers all over Arkansas, and from 8 states, Oklahoma, Kentucky, Missouri, Mississippi, Louisiana, Georgia, Texas, and Tennessee. The new series has attracted National media attention and has landed many headlines in net sports media across the country.

Entry fee for AMP members is only $75.00 per non special event . Non-members' entry fee will be $100.00 per non special event. AMP memberships can be purchased at the website at www.ampseries.com or by calling (501) 847-6019.
