FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE - January 16, 2009 - Park City, Kansas - Officials with the O'Reilly/National Championship Racing Association have announced that the rear spoilers for both the modified and new Oklahoma modified divisions have been raised to a maximum of six inches for the upcoming 2009 race season. This rule change, along with the previously announced aluminum heads (50 lb. weight added) being allowed in the Oklahoma modified division and revised sport modified rules will be up on the official NCRA website within the next couple of weeks.
In 2009, NCRA will be entering its 39th consecutive season of sanctioning dirt track auto racing throughout the central plans region. The series sanctions 360 sprint car, late model and modified divisions and this year has added 305 sprint car, Oklahoma modified and sport modified divisions to its sanctioning. For more series information, to schedule an event or climb aboard as sponsor for one of the above mentioned divisions, please contact the NCRA office (316) 755-1781 or director of competition Chris Smith (918) 625-6200.
