MARLAR, KING, MCCREADIE, CHILI BOWL AND MOTORSPORTS 2007 HEADLINE Dirt Nation™

 

Hampton, VA --- The Dirt Nation™ presented by Lucas Oil radio show on Monday evening January 8th will present a plethora of special guests from the world of dirt track racing across the country. Dirt Nation™ presented by Lucas Oil airs from 8:00 - 10:00 PM EST on WLRT 1490 THE OUTLAW and can be accessed over the internet at: www.racetalklive.com and www.dirtnation.net, and is hosted by Dave Seay.

Dirt Nation™ will spotlight the 21st Annual O'Reilly Chili Bowl Nationals to be held at the Tulsa Expo Center in Tulsa, OK January 9 – 13, 2007. Joining the show to discuss this year's edition will be race promoter Emmett Hahn and defending champion Tim McCreadie of Watertown, NY. McCreadie will once again be piloting the Steve Smith owned No. 1a Hawk Engine Development, Spike chassis. This year's Chili Bowl already has 269 pre-entered drivers' which sets a new record for entries with drivers from 27 different states as well as Australia represented among what already ranks among the most competitive fields in the prestigious history of Tulsa Expo Raceway's Chili Bowl Nationals.

Dirt Nation™ will also spotlight the very popular Lenny Sammons Productions Motorsports 2007 Expo presented by VP Racing Fuels show to be held January 12-14, 2007 at the Atlantic City Convention Center in Atlantic City, NJ. The 22nd edition of the show will be the first time it has been in Atlantic City and paired with the Atlantic City Indoor Race at Boardwalk Hall on January 12-13, 2007. Joining the show to talk about the move from Ft. Washington, PA to Atlantic City and what this year's show has to offer will be Area Auto Area News Publisher and show promoter Lenny Sammons.

Also making a return visit to Dirt Nation™ will be the "Winfield Warrior" Mike Marlar of Winfield, TN. Marlar will join the show to talk about his 2006 season and about signing with Stephens Motorsports to drive the famed Estes powered #34 sponsored by Stephens Trucking, S&B Cattle Company, Doyle Fertilizer, Crump's Lawn & Garden, Wayne Bowen Racing Supply and PBM Performance Products.

Making a first time visit to Dirt Nation™ will be 2006 Modified Tour Champion Rex King Sr. of Bristolville, OH. King will join the show to talk about his 2006 season which included his second consecutive Modified Tour Championship. King is also a regular at Sharon Speedway and Tri City Speedway. King drives the King Brothers Racing owned, Jim Bailey powered Bicknell #65 sponsored by Alltel, R.D. Banks Chevrolet, Bristol Disposal, Terry's tire town, 4 Star Travel, Mahan Welding & Fabrication, Cortland Banks, Hunyady Auction and Cintas Uniforms.

Also making a first time visit to Dirt Nation™ will be the president of the Modified Tour Inc. Ed Sanner. Sanner will talk about the series 2006 season and its 2007 plans.
