Anyone have any idea what the date is this year? I’m not sure why the date is always so hard to find, you would think they would want people to go.

First Friday/Saturday in November .

Is that official.   And where did you see it listed?

Because is was always the first Saturday in November forever.  But when Susquehanna speedway scheduled a race on flea market Saturday then the flea market moved to the second Saturday.   Also I thought the world finals made them move the flea market to the second Saturday of November.

On a side note,  it is frustrating that the date of the flea market is a guarded secret.  The parking lots at the farm show need to be reserved far in advance.   So it would be very easy to let everyone know the date as soon as the lots are reserved.   Especially since we live in the age of communication.   It takes very little time to post a reminder on Hoseheads or twitter or Facebook.   But instead the first mention will be two weeks before the event.

Per schedule, November 2 is the date which is a Saturday. A phone number for info is provided as well on the Silver Spring site. Last year the flea market was held the second Sat due to Charlotte being the first weekend. This year it looks like the Outlaws are off the first weekend and Charlotte is the second weekend Nov 7-9 so the flea market has gone back to being the first Sat. If you've never been before I would suggest doing some checking with someone who has. While the date is always listed as a Sat, I believe sellers show up Friday afternoon with buyers shortly after and the thing runs all night long Fri night into Sat.

Thank you very much. I had checked the pa farm complex website a few times but not recently. I guess I should have checked before I asked. I really don’t understand why it’s such a secret but I’m glad I now know.

To anyone who has never been its really really cool swap meet but make sure you get there Friday afternoon and bring rain gear, a winter coat and waterproof boots (I learned the hard way last year).

There's plenty of times I left the flea market at around noon on Saturday and we went straight to Susky. Maybe they they did move it back one year idk. But yeah I agree its frustrating they can't put something out on social media or anywhere for that matter. I just wish one time it could be NOT be 30 degrees with 20mph wind.  Makes for a long night.

Thank you for the update.  I read a comment from a vendor that said the lot won't open till 4 AM.

So if the lot opens at midnight.   When and are we allowed to prestage in the grass field?

When is selling allowed to begin?
