This weekends pending weather has forced cancelation and rescheduling of some events that were to be held this weekend. Here are some race tidbits for this weekend of March 29-30.
 
Thursday – Saturday night’s scheduled Kegger at Tri-State Speedway in Pocola, Oklahoma has been nixed.
The long-awaited return to Creek County Speedway in Kellyville by the OCRS has been rescheduled until Friday night, May 24.
 
Longdale Speedways schedule grand re-opening slated for Saturday night has been pushed back to next Saturday night, April 6.
 
The Donnie Ray Crawford Memorial at Port City Raceway for Friday and Saturday night is still on, as scheduled.
Monarch Motor Speedway in Wichita Falls, Texas will be back in action on Friday night. $1,000/win USRA Modifieds, $650/win USRA Ltd Mods,
$500/win IMCA Stock Cars & $500/win USRA Factory Stocks (And note that Western Outlaw Pure Stocks are welcomed to race with the USRA Factory Stocks). Race time at 8:00 PM
 
Saturday night begins yet another year of weekly racing at Lawton Speedway with all divisions competing in the first points race for the 2019 race season. IMCA sanctioned 305-ci sprints, USRA modfieds, limited modifieds, wingless sprints and mini stocks. Race action slated for a 7:30 PM start time.
 
Oklahoma Sports Park in Ada will hold a $1000 to win Enduro with a $500 to win pure stock show on Saturday afternoon, starting at 4:00 PM.
 
Big weekend for IMCA 305-ci RaceSaver sprints next weekend as Monarch Motor Speedway will host the first weekly show for the IMCA series while the Sprint Series of Oklahoma will kick off their season next Saturday night at Lawton Speedway. Not to be out done, United Rebel Sprint Series will kick off their 2019 race season next Friday night (April 5) at 81 Speedway ($800 to win) with race #2 at Dodge City Raceway Park on Saturday night ($700 to win).
 
If you have a 305-ci sprinter, you have choices.
81 Speedway next Friday and Saturday night hosting the 9th annual Park City Cup/Air Capital Shootout with Saturday night’s championship feature paying $14,000 to win, 41 lap event.
