Heard about this last year and forgot about it until I looked at the Knoxville schedule a few days ago and saw it on there.
I'm not real familiar with the different Non-Wing series but I see this event is sanctioning 3 different series (USAC, PowerI & WAR)
Any insight or predictions as to what the magnitude of this event will be? 10, 20, 30 cars per series??? This 2 2 day show has
definately piqued my interest and I plan on attending the 2-day event.

Im excited about this event as well, as the fans of Knoxville have been wanting this for awile. I think with the support from the past 2 years of the USAC race this is a great idea.

WAR is under POWRi sanctioning. I'm not sure why the Knoxville website has them seperated. The USAC shows over the past two years both had fantastic attendance and car counts (although two years ago was better than last year in terms of the car count). With $20,000 to win and $1,000 to start on Saturday, the POWRi WAR Series having a lot of Missouri and Illinois based drivers, and maybe having 3 to 4 Knoxville guys take off their wings, I think we can see 50 cars show up.

40 cars pre-registered for the Non Wing Nationals. Sounds like it could hit 50 cars.

Still see at least a couple of familiar USAC drivers not entered. Damian Gardner, Dave Darland, Tim Buckwalter...
Looking forward to this race, Hopefully it stays dry and the fans turn out.
