This rumor has popped up every year for the last 3 years and gets shot down every time...

It is the best 410 race track in central PA.

Let's go Sprint Car Racing!

Knoxville - Best Track In the USA!
Eldora - 2nd Best Track in the USA!

Think how much better it could be if you paid admission to two races each year instead of just one.

Absolutely. Lincoln is my favorite track on the Central PA circuit. They're all good but for my money, there's nothing better than watching them pull wheelstands coming off of turn 4 while eating some Bricker's fries. Bring on February.

We don't need that kind of negativity on our lives.

Lincoln 1845 ft/.35 mile T1=118MPH
Eldora 2287 ft/.43mile T3=135MPH
Port 2716 ft/.51 mile T3=TBD
Grove 2792 ft/.53 mile T3=135MPH
Selinsgrove 2847 ft/.54 mile T1=136MPH

If it truly has been sold dont see any major changes in schedule released.

Wonder how Heffner and Gobrecht will be in three different places on the same night (Baps,Selinsgrove,Lincoln and whever they race their car?

Wonder what happened to Path Valley no longer on Speedweek schedule?

If the rumors of Gobrecht being the new owner are true, I am really surprised that BAPS didn't get a Speedweek date especially since Path Valley is off the schedule for this year.

Kind of a shock that Path Valley isn't on the SW schedule this year. Seemed like thet had a good thing going there. Maybe Fred doesn't have the time to promote it this year. He said it was a lot of work. I hope it is replaced with a smaller track and not another half-mile.

I've been told it was because of safety. I can believe that because Path Valley is one of the most unsafe tracks I've ever been to. If that was the reason, I'm all for it. Good to see a new attitude after losing Greg and Jason. As far as BAPS, why they aren't on the schedule at this point is beyond me. Maybe there's still bad blood because of them scheduling the Thursday before Speedweek a couple of years ago? Either way, the speedweek schedule sucks. Too many half miles and too repetitive. We see enough races every year at Williams Grove, Lincoln and Port and now they account for 6 speedweek shows and you can bet your ass that none of them will give up a date in the future to accommodate a new track. Greed will win that battle every time.

Being from Ohio, the fact that there are 3 repeat tracks in PA's speedweek doesn't appeal to me. My fiance and I are planning our honeymoon in either Western or Central Pa (thanks to sprint cars) and look forward to being there but wouldn't to be revisiting the same tracks twice in one week. We have had one repeat track last year (Atomic) thanks to the owners of  Millstream screwing Shane Helm's show up. Wayne County is the only track hosting duplicate shows this year. Both Atomic and Wayne County were hosting the finale as well so at least it makes some sense.

I think if you polled most Posse fans, they would like to see a Speedweek schedule with 9 or 10 races with different tracks, with maybe the exception of Williams Grove on both Fridays. That being said the promotors of the three tracks that run 410's on a weekly basis (Williams Grove, Port Royal & Lincoln) feel they are entiled to two races and obviously they are money makers and are not about to relinquish them to other tracks including BAPS.......
