Interesting, I would have thought in Tennessee you’d want the late models.

I always enjoyed seeing that track on TV. The ASA races were always good there (All American 400 I think). It is a racy joint. I would think any dirt race there would be a good show.

Are they going the route of Mansfield, OH and tearing up the asphalt, or just a temporary dirt covering?

Logistically it would make sense since the Haubstadt race is around that time and its 2-3 hours from Nashville.  Saw WoO late models at a small dirt place outside of nashville few years back.  Ok show, but Im a sprint fan.  Man this would be really cool if it happens

Fairly sure this would be a temporary dirt covering.  I'm not following details but I have seen headlines that they're also looking to bring NASCAR back to the Nashville Fairgrounds so that would indicate the track would be paved.  You could argue that NASCAR might run dirt there, but at this point I don't believe they'd be able to get anything above a Trucks race on dirt.

Signature here.

Well, it was always a fun track to race on NASCAR Racing 3 on the CD-ROM.

Hopefully, this post doesn't get deleted....
