Where can you find the current All Star Owner Points Blake said on Sturday that the Owner Points is worth $50,000 and its is close between the 87,3,and 13 I would like to see Tom Buch get it he keeps coming back after some really bad times.
Did Macedo lose owner points when he raced the 7c at Port?

Yes Macedo was awarded owners points for racing another teams car. This went over like a turd in a punch bowl with the other teams. I think its a bullshit move by the ASCoC .....

Thanks whoisthis just what I expected but if Macedo got points at Port how is he behind the 13, I know Sabito ran some aces in ithe 13 did he do good enough to get ahead of the 3 even though the 3 is second in driver points?
Just listened to winged Nation sounds like Ryan Smith plans on being in the 11 next year wonder if the 94 and 59 are done.
Also on Winged Nation Elliason in a 59 this weekend at Eldora what 59 is that?

I'm gonna guess it's the Thone 59? He was in that car in Plymouth a couple weeks ago before he 'got worn out by a local smokey', as he put it.

If you go to our website you can find the owner points each week under the "Team Portal" section. I THINK on the mobile site it falls under the "Rules" tab. Owner points are also listed in our bulletin we put out each week for that event. We usually post it on wednesday/thursday.

Thanks Blake do you remember how the 13 got ahead of the 3 with Macedo second in points ?
Enjoy your announcing wish the Pa. tracks would just let you announce.
Looks like Tony might have to recruit again this winter with all the defects and possibly some moving to the Outlaws.

Looking back at the results from that weekend the first night Sebetto finished several positions ahead of Macedo at Attica, then the next night at Wayne Co. Macedo finished several positions ahead of Sebetto. So for the owner points it was probably close to a wash on Gaerte gaining ground on Buch. It's not inconceivable that McMahan has actually outrun Macedo on average for the rest of the races.

I must've been living under a rock... when was this? Macedo earned owners points towards the 3G even though he was in a different car???

Friday night at the Tuscorora 50 Macedo broke something in the rear while leading the dash. They didn't have time to fix whatever it was so he paid Conley's owner to race the 7c in the feature. It definitely didn't go over well with a few other All Star teams.

Wow, didn't know this. I definitely understand why other All Star teams are upset. Unless the 3G team flat out bought the car from Conley's owner I'd be pissed too. You're in a points battle with 3 weeks left in the season... your backup car should be ready to go in a moments notice.

I think the 13 has been ahead of the 3G the whole season. I remember during Ohio Sprint Speedweek they had mentioned that a couple of times as the 13 was leading the points at that time. I don't know when the 87 overtook the the 13 in points but it appears it is a close battle among 3 teams now.
As far as Carson getting points for racing the 7K car.... I guess driver points are fine since technically he did drive the car and was regulated to the rear of the field. As far as owner points go gets kind of sketchy. Not sure if the 3G has a backup car in the trailer or not??? The 7K was not an alternate and I have seen in other series drivers who do not transfer lend another driver their car to complete the feature. The series can't really award owner points to the 7K so it is one of those behind the scene politcal things that I do not try to think about too much. It just makes you crazy trying to decide what is fair, and what I think is fair is completely different than the person who is writing the checks to everyone at the end of the year.

I'd say the moment a organization allows a back-up car to be run for points, it really shouldn't matter where the car came from, your trailer or someone else's, it's still your back up. I've seen plenty of teams borrow motors, tires and wings and no one ever seemed to care.

If they paid Conley's car owner for the car, for the night, it was their backup car. Right?
