360C.I. SPRINT CAR BANDITS FINAL 2018 TRIP to HEART O’ TEXAS – FRIDAY, AUGUST 24th!

NCRA Sprint Car Bandits (SCB) series returns for its third and final visit of 2018 to the 1/4 mile 'bullring' oval of Heart O' Texas Speedway (HOT) in Waco on Friday, August 24th during Muscular Dystrophy Night at the Speedway. At the time of writing there have been 12 different SCB feature winners in the first 13 events – and with the exciting action that HOT is known for, we very well could end up with yet another new winner, so make sure to put this event on your racing calendar!
A full field of sprint cars will greet fans, with drivers such as Colby Estes (current series points leader), Michael Day (the first HOT winner in 2018), Claud Estes III, Scott Evans, Dalton Stevens, Chance McCrary, Dale Wester (the latest series winner at HOT), DJ Estes, Kyle Jones, Gary Floyd, Junior Jenkins, Tyson Hall, Britney Bryant, Jason Howell, Ryan Hall, John Ricketts, Michelle Melton, Bryan Debrick, Chad Wilson, Dalton Steed, Christian Kinnison, Brad Queen, Daniel Estes, Jeb Sessums, Austin Mundie, Chad Ewell, Chase Parson, Shane Gloeckler, Raven Culp, Danny Merrell, Brandie Jass and Justin Zimmerman – along with several others from throughout the region.

Note all sprint car teams that sign in will draw for heat race starting positions, regardless of their engine C.I. displacement (up to and including 360C.I.) and will receive passing points to determine their straight-up from points feature race starting position. All drivers make sure to read the posted rules at the series website prior to heading to the track.
The standard posted SCB purse and rules are in effect. All non-qualifiers or non-starters will each receive $100. There is no entry fee, no series membership fee and just a $15 draw fee. The SCB series has a unique rules package that allows teams to use their current equipment (especially in the engine compartment) yet curbing nightly tire expense...which helps equalize the competition, with teams of varying budget sizes.
That rules package certainly has the vote of many of the drivers in the DFW area, as 103 have competed in the series during through thirteen events of 2018!
Between the lower operating cost of the SCB series and the addition of sponsor funds into nightly purses, it is allowing more area race tracks to book events - which all translates into DFW area fans getting to see quality sprint car race at a lower grandstand ticket price.
When you combine those components with lower nightly competitor operating purses, it all equals one thing: the Sprint Car Bandits series!
