The Racing World has lost yet another great one, Rex Staton from Kokomo passed away Saturday at his home. Sexy was a great photographer around that area and was a vital part of Kokomo Speedway back when Ken owned it. He was like a Brother to me and several of the Indiana Photographers, writers, promoters and especially all the racers. He knew everyone and everyone knew him. We had some great times together over the years and just chatted with Jill at Kokomo and pretty sure they are going to recognize him at next weeks ISW Event. Please Keep Rex and his family in your every prayer. My heart breaks as Rex was one of the Very Best People you would ever want to meet. He would give you the shirt right off his back, for a pinch of Snuff....LOL

Heard about this last night via Randy Jones Facebook, so sad. Rexy had been sick for some time but he hung in there like the trooper he was. Have not met many guys that enjoyed life as much as Rex and boy did he make sure you were having fun in his company. Many, many laughs at many, many places over the years. Him, Travis and Frank were quite the 3 Amigos in their back spot behind the barns at the Nationals, good times were had. See you down the road ol' friend.....
