Saw a picture of Larry Foley holding one above his head on Facebook.
There was a Tim Carlson at Nance about that time. He might have welded on the frame.
How many were made. I have heard three.
Did any of them race much. Did they work at all.
Cold in Two Dot today about 41.

I'm not sure how many Nance built, but I don't think any of them were customer cars - in house only.
Fred Linder was the driver and the car run several races.
A story I remember hearing was that Fred scraped the inner rail at Ascot late in the season and broke the entire left side off the frame and that seemed to put an end to the experiment.
Would be interesting to know how much maintainance went into keeping the frame in one piece.

Shane Carson has it in Oklahoma and is gonna restore it one day. If you get a chance listen to the “open red” podcast and he talks about it.
