Let’s Also Focus on NCRA Modified Season Opener!
Park City, Kansas – March 23, 2018 - While sprint car drivers and fans across the country are gearing up for the highest-paying sprint car event in series history set for next weekend, modified drivers and fans are asking “what about us?” Have no fear as information abound has come for the “Autism Awareness Challenge” featuring the season opener for the National Championship Racing Association of Park City, Kansas presented by Precise Racing Products modified division. This event will kick off the 21st season for the division on Friday and Saturday night, April 13-14, 2018 at 81 Speedway in Park City.
Also, on the race card will be the season opener for the series mod lite division and they will be competing both nights as well.
Both night’s will be a complete show for the series modified division with Friday night’s feature paying $2000 to win and $200 to start the twenty- car-field while Saturday night’s championship feature will pay $3000 to win and $300 to start the feature.
NCRA or USRA rules will be allowed but NO mixing or matching of those rules.
The mod lites will be competing for $500 to win on Friday and $1000 to win on Saturday night.
Entry fee is $50 both nights and drivers must utilize official NCRA or USRA rules and NO mixing or matching of rules.
Each night will be a complete show. Any car competing on Saturday night only will start no better than eleventh and run for half pay that is posted.
There will be an open practice session on Thursday night (April 12) from 7:00 PM– 10:00 PM.
Pit gates on Friday and Saturday night will open at 5:00 PM with start time scheduled for 7:00 PM.
